About Talent Litmus

- Talent Litmus is a game-based platform for assessments and learning founded by IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. We are a young, funded, growing and ambitious startup.

- Imagine if companies were to recruit candidates using interactive mobile games instead of tedious assessments. What if training sessions in organisations were not long 3-day workshops but gripping online role-playing games. We imagined it, and have made it a reality.

- We are using Games and Generative AI to make assessments nd learning at the workplace interesting.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of our web and mobile platform - from specification to design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Design and develop secure, scalable, performant and reliable systems.
• Create a framework of technical standards and procedures
• Collaborative work with other HR tech platforms to implement seamless integration.
• Rapid development and prototyping of new features.

Requirements 

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or Mathematics 2 or more years of demonstrated successful experience in Full-Stack web development.
• Hands-on Experience with designing and building a high-quality front end for web applications.
• Experience with Node. JS, Angular JS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, NestJs, AWS(EC2, Route53, S3, CloudFront, Lambda), Docker, nginx.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Typescript Basic understanding and exposure to GEN AI tech.
• Bonus: experience with CI/CD, and game development (phaser.js, three.js, play canvas, etc. )
• Ability to have smart technical conversations and defend hypotheses with factual data.
• Candidates willing to work from home or from office in Mumbai

• Design and develop high-quality web applications using the Django web framework
• Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to create innovative experiences
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient, clean, modular, and well-documented code
• Test and debug applications for optimal performance
• Monitor applications for performance and security issues
• Create and maintain the application's architecture
• Create and implement applications that are low-latency, high-availability, and performant
• Security and data protection implementation
• Data storage solution integration
• Develop user interfaces with React and Redux technologies
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure efficient delivery of features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
• Monitor application performance and address any issues
• Research and suggest new technologies to improve existing applications
• Remain up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
• Managing and maintaining AWS
• Containerizing the solution with Docker
• Upgrade, update the existing solution
• Collaborate with the mobile app developer
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends

• Proven work experience as a Django developer
• Strong knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with developing RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of Django, Docker, AWS, React.js
• Able to use and understand different browser developer tools.
• Strong knowledge of GIT
• Able to use Postman, JIRA or similar tools
• Familiar with JSON
• Working knowledge of Django-compatible libraries like GeoDjango

• Bachelor’s/Master in computer science
• 5-7 years of work experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast, unstructured environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  Must have access to FTTH internet connection

• Identify bad code practices in PHP and write new rules to detect them.
• Improve the coverage of automatically fixable issues.
• Ensure fewer false-positives are reported by the analyzer.
• Work on the internal tools that support analysis runtimes.
• Contribute to open-source static analysis tools.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience in PHP.
• Understanding of the nuances of execution of the source code (AST, data flow graphs, etc).
• Familiarity with PHP best practices followed in the industry.
• Native experience with Linux/Unix environment.
• A focus on delivering high-quality code through strong testing practices.
