Position Overview: As a Product Owner / Scrum Master at GeoSnapShot, you'll be the linchpin between our visionary ideas and real-world execution. You'll play a pivotal role in defining and shaping our products, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will drive our development team towards peak performance, ensuring every sprint yields exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Visionary: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, develop product roadmaps, and translate ideas into actionable user stories and features.
- Agile Leadership: Act as a servant-leader, guiding our Agile development teams through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring timely and high-quality product deliveries.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong communication between development teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring transparency, managing expectations, and driving customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement, coach team members on Agile best practices, and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality assurance, overseeing testing efforts to guarantee the delivery of reliable and user-friendly software solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner and Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and empowering approach to team management.

Desired Candidate Profile
What you need to have:- Qualification -B.E/ B.Tech and/or MBA
- Experience of 5-9 years in related industry/ product categories
- Keen interest/ knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
- Exposure in developing and working with factories in China is essential
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- 1+ year of experience
- Full responsibility for designing and building core back-end modules and system architectures.
- Good understanding of database concepts.
- Experience with at least two programming languages (PHP & GoLang).
- Experience in creating at least one web application.
- Knowledge of MySQL in-depth and basic understanding of MongoDB along with basic understanding about different paradigms of programming.
- Ability to interact and coordinate with a team.
- Should have a basic understanding of APIs.
- Modify code in time to keep code dry and reusable.
- Should have worked in at least one framework in the backend.
- A background in Software Architecture would be preferred.
Requirements
- Develop data-driven web solutions on PHP frameworks (ideally CakePHP), but be undeterred when the need arises to create an application from the ground up as required, maintain, contribute and adhere to our programming best practices and guidelines.
- Work with a team of UI designers, programmers, and server admins, to bring brand new concepts to the market.
- Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.

What will you do at Tradyl:

- Build a shipping service module that is called by our website to query shipping rates from India to a destination country. Configure this to so that an Ops person can update shipping costs as and when they change. Own deployment and monitoring of this service.
- Use Zapier to build a workflow to export a MixPanel report into a Google sheet every day.
- Change our supplier portal (built on bubble.io) to make an API call to our customer facing site, whenever a supplier modifies his profile.
- Write an alert mechanism that identifies catalogues with insufficient information and makes them non discoverable, which can run every day.
- Work with Business Team to design a workflow for product inwarding using Airtable. Write a small app within Airtable so that whenever a product is updated as “shipped” in airtable, it updates the customer facing website.
- Use an open source dashboarding framework to create a quick dashboard to track important business events.
