Web Scraping engineer

Python web scraping will be responsible for efficient web scraping/web crawling and parsing. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in web scraping and data extraction along with the ability to communicate effectively and adhere to set deadlines. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain a service that extracts website data using scrapers and APIs across multiple sophisticated websites.
• Extract structured/unstructured data and manipulate data through text processing, image processing, regular expressions etc.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Seeking a Python Developer to develop and maintain web scraping solutions using BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Selenium.
• Responsibilities include handling dynamic content, proxies, CAPTCHAs, data extraction, optimization, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Implement and maintain robust, full-stack applications for web crawlers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing web crawlers and data extraction systems.
• Utilize tools such as Scrapy and the Spider tool to enhance data crawling capabilities.

• Requirements:
• 0.5-2 years of work experience in Python-based web scraping
• Sound understanding and knowledge of Python and good experience in any of the web crawling tools like requests, scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium etc.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Define and develop roadmaps to deliver strategic goals
• Regularly review the annual and quarterly roadmaps and refine the scope and priorities
• Drive progress reviews with senior management and leadership
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
• Report plans, progress, risks regularly at different levels
• Develop release management plans, processes and drive the adoption
• Develop release calendars and release management plans to achieve the same
• Drive sprint planning, standup meetings and ensure the work being done follows the plans
• Lead the customer engagements, set up processes, tools to manage the engagements
• Lead progress reviews, discussions around new requirements and issues with customers and internal teams to ensure customer success
• Articulate customers requirements to the cross functional teams, plan to deliver them
• Organize and manage all phases of the programs to ensure on-time completion

Knowledge and Skills

• Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience in managing complex cross-functional large scale enterprise projects. 
• Good understanding of tools used for development, QE and Dev Ops
• Experience in setting up, configuring and driving usage of project management tools
• Experience in managing releases in both Cloud and On-Premise environments
• Demonstrated ability to partner with different functions across the organization

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science from a reputed college
• PMP Certification is a plus
• ITIL Certification is a plus

Experience

• At least 2-3 years in a software development role
• At least 1-2 years in a technical lead role independently managing sub-projects / development of components
• At least 5-7 years in managing software development projects using agile methodologies
• At least 3-4 years (running in parallel to the above) managing releases to the cloud and / or on-prem environments

Total minimum experience for program manager: 12 years.

Total minimum experience for Sr. Program manager: 14 years.

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

• Working with business teams across the company to define requirements and high-level process/ system solutions, leading cross-functional teams (10-25) and managing the timelines for field sourcing teams to support sourcing and on-boarding of supply
• Working on strategies to acquire supply for existing business and new product lines and executing through field teams
• Driving margins improvements by improving supply acquisition cost
• Improving driver engagement and adoption to technology
• Regularly communicating with senior management and clients on status, risks and change control
• Defining KPIs/ KRAs on which would form the base for different processes

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduates from Tier 1/2/3 engineering colleges and/or Tier 2/3 management colleges
• 2-10 years of frontline operational experience in B2B domain at a city/hub level
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment
