Product Manager

At InferQ, we are building solutions for autonomous and intelligent aerial systems. We seek a Robotic Navigation Engineer with deep technical rigor and a passion for developing mission-critical navigation, estimation, and path planning systems for UAVs. The role demands hands-on engagement across the autonomy stack. You will work at the intersection of robotics, AI, and aerospace, translating research into reliable field-deployable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement algorithms for joint state estimation, integrating multi-sensor inputs.
• Develop dynamic and real-time path planning solutions for UAVs.
• Create and validate flight simulations using various COTS Simulators or custom HIL/SIL test environments.
• Design and integrate advanced navigation systems.
• Work with avionics, AI, and controls teams to integrate autonomy modules on flight computers and mission systems.
• Conduct flight trials, performance evaluation, and algorithm optimization under real mission conditions.
• Support development of mission-critical autonomy frameworks for UAV systems.

Skillset/ Experience Required

• Strong foundation in linear and nonlinear state estimation and multi-sensor fusion.
• Expertise in path planning and trajectory optimization for aerial platforms.
• Proficiency in C++ / Python and ROS / ROS2 for robotic system development.
• Experience with aerospace kinematics and dynamics modeling, flight control integration, and navigation system design.
• Hands-on experience with Gazebo / X-Plane / AirSim / Unreal Engine simulators.
• Practical understanding of vision-based SLAM, visual odometry, and obstacle avoidance.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a systems-engineering mindset.
• Exposure to AI-based perception systems.
• Integration of algorithms with embedded flight computers.
• Experience with HIL/SIL test setups and flight telemetry systems.
• Familiarity with DO-178C, DO-254, or other lifecycle processes is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Aerospace, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, or related disciplines.
• Academic or project focus in Autonomous Systems, Estimation, Navigation, or AI-based Robotics is preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading engineering teams. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++ and CUDA. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). 
• Experience with GPU architecture and algo development toolkits like Docker, Apptainer. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 + years of experience 
• Master's degree plus 8 + years of experience 
• Familiar with high performance computing, parallel programming and distributed systems.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS: 

• Phd with 6 yrs industry exp or M.Tech + 8 yrs experience or B.Tech + 10 yrs experience.
• 14 yrs exp if an IC role.
• Minimum 1 yrs experience working as a Manager/Lead
• 8 years' experience in any of the programming languages such as Python/C++/CUDA.
• 8 years' experience in Machine learning, Artificial intelligence, Deep learning.
• 2 to 3 years exp in Image processing & Computer vision is a MUST
• Product / Semi-conductor / Hardware Manufacturing company experience is a MUST. Candidates should be from engineering product companies 
• Candidates from Tier 1 colleges like (IIT, IIIT, VIT, NIT) (Preferred)
• Relocation to Chennai is mandatory

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: 

• Candidates from Semicon or manufacturing companies
• Candidates with more than 8 CPGA

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a NOC Engineer / Senior NOC Engineer in the telecom/Product (preferably telecom monitoring) industry.
• BE in CS, EE, or Telecommunications from a recognized university.
• Knowledge of NOC Process
• Technology exposure towards Telecom – 5G,4G,IMS with a solid understanding of Telecom Performance KPI’s, and/or Radio Access Network. Knowledge of call flows will be advantage
• Experience with Linux OS and SQL – mandatory.

• Ready to work in a 24×7 environment.
• Ability to monitor alarms based on our environment.
• Capability to identify and resolve issues occurring in the RADCOM environment.

• Responsible for all NOC Monitoring and technical support -T1/T2 aspects required by the process for RADCOM’s solutions.

Role Overview:

As a back-end engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the platform/dashboard backend. This would involve developing & maintaining RESTful services for vulnerability management, scan orchestration, inventory management and platform features such as on-boarding, trust centers, certificates, payment integrations, vulnerability ingestion, authentication etc. 

You should have a strong background in backend programming (Symfony preferred, or Laravel) and have experience with an event driven, async & distributed architecture. 

During the first 6 months of your role, you will be involved in the 0->1 journey of two of our upcoming products in our platform along with the respective product owners.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Symfony PHP framework. What you create is also what you own.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with scanner teams to orchestrate scans, ingest vulnerabilities, configure scanners etc.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability.
