WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are seeking a motivated Associate Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (particularly Scrum), and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones, including the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Planning & Development:
• Assist in defining and prioritizing product roadmaps based on market research, customer feedback, and strategic business objectives.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into well-defined user stories and feature specifications.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
• Project Management & Execution:
• Manage product development sprints using Scrum methodology.
• Track progress in Jira, ensuring timely updates, risk identification, and issue resolution.
• Clearly communicate project status, dependencies, and roadblocks to all stakeholders.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other necessary Scrum ceremonies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
• Work effectively across time zones to coordinate with US-based team members.
• Data Analysis:
• Assist in gathering and analyzing product-related metrics to inform decision-making.
• Monitor product performance, identify trends, and suggest areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in a product-related role (e.g., product management, project management, business analysis).
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proven experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across time zones, including coordinating with teams in the US.

Preferred:

• Experience in a tech or software development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are looking for an experienced quantitative professional to develop, implement, test, and maintain the core algorithms and R&D framework for our Investment and investment advisory platform. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully implemented and maintained quantitative and statistical modules using modular software design constructs. The candidate needs to be a responsible product owner, a problem solver and a team player looking to make a significant impact on a fast-growing company. The successful candidate will directly report to the Head of Quant Research & Development.

Requirements:

•  Years of experience: Mid-Level : 6-7 years
• Should have good logical ability, testing aptitude, innovative thinking, a desire to learn new things and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
• The candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a group towards a common objective. Good communication skills are a plus.
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Hands on experience on manual testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Well versed with all stages of software development & software testing life cycle
• Proficient in test case preparation
• Solid experience in preparing test strategies, writing test plans, test cases and test data
• Identify, analyze, and document defects using bug defect tracking tools (Such as Jira)
• Good understanding of different testing types like Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database etc.
• Knowledge on JMeter, Postman will be an added advantage

• Develop user-facing features such as web apps and landing portals.
• Ensure the feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them technically.
• Create reusable code and libraries for future use.

We have an urgent requirement for a UI Developer. The successful candidate will work closely with our Engineering team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Responsibilities :

- Develop the webapp and landing portals which are user-facing features.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

- Assure all user input is validated before submitting it to the backend.

Minimum Qualifications :

- 3+ years of JavaScript and professional web development experience

- Solid understanding of HTML5, LESS/CSS3, JQuery & Bootstrap

- Expert understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.

- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (i.e. React + Redux)

- General knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies

- Experience with Datatables or similar excel-like libraries.

- Experience mentoring other developers

- Experience of REST or GraphQL

- Experience using token-based security, such as OAUTH or JWT.

- Must have knowledge of cross-browser development.

- Experience on a green-field project, designing and building an online platform

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• The end-to-end research, development, and maintenance of investment platform, data and algorithms
• Take part in building out the R&D back testing and simulation engines
• Thoroughly vet investment algorithmic results 
• Contribute to the research data platform design
• Investigate datasets for use in new or existing algorithms
• Participate in agile development practices
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather & understand the functional requirements
• Take part in code reviews ensuring quality meets highest level of standards
• Develop software using high quality standards and best practices, conduct thorough end-to-end unit testing, and provide support during testing and post go-live
• Support research innovation through the creative and aggressive experimentation of cutting-edge hardware, software, processes, procedures, and methods
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure appropriate requirements, standards, and integration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a quant research & development role
• Proficient in Python, Git and Jira

We are seeking a world-class Technology leader who can provide executive leadership for the Division’s Engineering organisation, building personalisation capabilities for financial advisors with an emphasis on integration capabilities. The VP will play a critical role in the growth of the Division and will be an integral member of the Executive team. THE ROLE:

• Reports to TIFIN India’s CTO
• Lead Project management of technology projects
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather & understand the functional requirement
• Develop / implement software code, conduct thorough end-to-end system testing, deploy code to production, and provide post go-live support.

WHO YOU ARE: 

• 10+ years of experience in software
• Proficient in Python, Django, Node JS, ReactJS, Pandas, GitHub/GitLab and Jira
• Understanding of React JS and other MERN stack technologies is essential
• Ability to lead, design and implement backend services
• Ability to grow and lead technology teams and drive best practices and coding standards.
• Experience with working on scalable interactive web applications
• Infrastructure knowledge including AWS, GCP, etc.
• Clear understanding of software design constructs and their implementation.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of attention to detail, accountability, pride in delivering high quality work and willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience and startup mindset.
• An understanding of or exposure to financial capital markets, various financial instruments (such as stocks, ETFs, Mutual Funds, etc.), and financial tools (such as Factset, Reuters, etc.) would be beneficial
• Ability to own the user experience for the customer, and work across the stack from database schema, designing APIs

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As part of TIFIN's technology division, you will be enhancing UI development and you will work closely with our Engineering team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

• Design and develop apps for iOS and/or Android devices

• Experience with the apps supported by AWS, Firebase and GCP stack would be a plus
• Code deployment through CI/CD and Knowledge about publishing the app to App Stores / Google Play
• Familiar using source control tools such as github and able to setup server environments for testing, staging, live, etc.

Responsibilities:  

• Drive the research and innovation in a result-oriented direction. 
• Stay up to date with the latest research trends, have a high level of curiosity and keep exploring advancements in NLU and their applications in conversational AI. 
• Mentor other team members during the experimentation phase and help them narrow down the inconclusive direction. 
• Come up with ideas to improve NLU capabilities using transfer learning from historical conversational data. 
• Benchmark the prototype on Data to gain the required precision. 
• Perform in-depth analysis of failure points of the algorithm on different environments. 
• Foresee data requirements for future research projects and come up with innovative approaches for data generation. 
• Scale models for multiple domains with the help of DevOps, backend and frontend teams. 
• Publish and present successful research in relevant journals and conferences. 

Requirements: 

• Experience with training and fine-tuning machine learning models on large text datasets. 
• Strong computer science fundamentals and 3+ years of software development experience. 
• Track record of thinking big and finding simple solutions while dealing with ambiguity. 
• Proven experience as a Natural Language Processing Engineer or other similar roles. 
• Good understanding of Natural Language Processing tricks and techniques for semantic extraction, data structure, and modelling. 
• Understanding of text representation techniques, algorithms, and statistics Familiarity with R language, Python, and Java. 
• Good knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks such as eras, PyTorch, etc. 
• Ability to code and design software architectures. 
• Problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and analytical mind.
• Proven and successful experience on at least one of the projects amongst information retrieval, machine comprehension, entity recognition, text classification, semantic frame parsing or machine translation. 
• Relevant publications, patents or talks delivered at reputed conferences are a bonus. ∙
