WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business needs and architectural improvements.
• Review code for quality and implementation of best practices.
• Promote coding, testing, and deployment best practices through hands-on research and demonstration.
• Write testable code that enables extremely high levels of code coverage.
• Ability to review frameworks and design principles toward suitability in the project context.

Requirements:

●Engineering graduate with 3-5 years of experience in software product development.

●Proficient in Python, Node.js, Go

●Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL

Strong Experience in designing and building APIs

Experience with working on scalable interactive web applications

A clear understanding of software design constructs and their implementation Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture Experience implementing Unit and Integration testing Exposure to the Finance domain is preferred

Responsibilities

● Develop, publish, execute and maintain test plans for functional and automated tests

● Design, implement and document test cases for product releases.

● Work with developers and product managers to ensure requirements are successfully

translated into usable test cases.

● Identify and execute manual and automated test cases and analyze test results.

● Work with developers and Product Managers to identify and report root causes for test

failures.

● Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, quality assurance best

practices and processes.

● Independently determine and design testing approaches that support comprehensive testing

of difficult solutions; mentor and cross-train others on testing approaches as well as aspects

of automated testing.

Qualifications

● 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

● 10+ years of experience with Cypress,Selenium, Java or Python and

TestNG/Junit.

● Understanding of how test automation frameworks are customized/created.● Basic knowledge of Data Structures like Lists, Sets, HashMaps etc.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines preferably with Jenkins.

● Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, and APIs testing.

● Experience with SQA processes, SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies (manual test

processes, black box, white box and gray box testing, test case design, scripting and

execution, automated test tools).

● Experience with functional testing of multi-tier Web applications.

● Experience working with issues tracking tools, test cases design and execution. Preferably

JIRA.

● Solid understanding of large-scale systems testing.

Experienced Full Stack Developer with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in building production level

web applications. Should be proficient in the lifecycle of product development from ideation to

production.

Key Skills:

Backend Development: Extensive experience in python based backend development with

Django and FastAPI frameworks. Proficient in building RESTful APIs, handling

authentication, authorization, and data validation.

Frontend Development: Skilled in frontend technologies, particularly ReactJS, NextJS for

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are looking for an experienced quantitative professional to develop, implement, test, and maintain the core algorithms and R&D framework for our Investment and investment advisory platform. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully implemented and maintained quantitative and statistical modules using modular software design constructs. The candidate needs to be a responsible product owner, a problem solver and a team player looking to make a significant impact on a fast-growing company. The successful candidate will directly report to the Head of Quant Research & Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The end-to-end research, development, and maintenance of investment platform, data and algorithms
• Take part in building out the R&D back testing and simulation engines
• Thoroughly vet investment algorithmic results
• Contribute to the research data platform design
• Investigate datasets for use in new or existing algorithms
• Participate in agile development practices
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather & understand the functional requirements
• Take part in code reviews ensuring quality meets highest level of standards
• Develop software using high quality standards and best practices, conduct thorough end-to-end unit testing, and provide support during testing and post go-live
• Support research innovation through the creative and aggressive experimentation of cutting-edge hardware, software, processes, procedures, and methods
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure appropriate requirements, standards, and integration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a quant research & development role
• Proficient in Python, Git and Jira
• Knowledge in SQL and database development (PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Understanding of R and RMarkdown is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computational mathematics, or financial engineering
• Master’s degree or advanced training is a strong plus
• Excellent mathematical foundation and hands-on experience working in the finance industry
