Job Description: Senior Technical Consultant

Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for a senior-level Technical Consultant to lead the technical design, development, and architecture of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. As a technical authority, you will translate complex functional requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a balance between deep technical development (approx. 60%) and solution architecture/mentorship (approx. 40%). The ideal candidate has over a decade of experience, mastery of the D365 F&O technical framework, and expertise in extending the platform using Azure services, Power Platform, and custom AI agents via Copilot Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Architecture & Design: Lead the technical design of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies, ensuring all solutions adhere to Microsoft's extension-based, cloud-first best practices.
• Custom Development & AI Extensibility: Develop complex features using X++, C#, and the extension framework. Create and extend AI-powered functionalities by building custom agents in Copilot Studio and integrating with Azure AI Services.
• System Integration: Architect and build real-time and asynchronous integrations using OData, Custom APIs, Logic Apps, and Dual-write.
• Performance Engineering & Optimization: Proactively monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues. Conduct code reviews and optimize X++ queries, batch processes, and integrations to ensure application health.
• DevOps & Environment Management: Own the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline, including build automation, code branching (Git), and release management via Lifecycle Services (LCS).

Projects You'll Work On:

• Leading the technical delivery of multi-country D365 F&O rollouts.
• Architecting custom AI-powered workflows to automate financial reconciliation and supply chain forecasting.
• Building complex, real-time integrations between D365 F&O and third-party logistics, e-commerce, and CRM platforms.

Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• 12+ years of software development experience, with at least 8 years focused on Dynamics AX / D365 F&O.
• Expert-level proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, OData, Power Platform, and the Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Proven track record leading the technical delivery of at least three large-scale, enterprise D365 F&O implementations.
• Preferred Certifications:
• Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate
• Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert
• Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)

•  Minimum a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in Design and develop Microsoft Dynamics AX-based products.
• Customize and extend Microsoft Dynamics AX using Morph X& X++ and C#
• Good in writing Business logic and customizing existing functionalities
• Experience in ISV development
• Performing AX version upgrade
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Good understanding on AX Architecture
• Experience in Integration projects (Power app, Logic App)
• Experience in Development with Best Practice.
