Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer with a strong proficiency in Node.js and expertise in database management. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our software systems, ensuring their high performance and responsiveness.

Responsibilities:

·      Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.

·      Optimize and scale applications for maximum speed and scalability.

·      Implement security and data protection measures.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

·      Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

·      Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

·      Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development.

·      Proficiency with databases, preferably MongoDB or DynamoDB.

·      Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

·      Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

·      Familiarity with cloud platforms in AWS is a plus.

·      Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

·      Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·      Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

·      Proven track record of delivering high-quality code on schedule.

• Ownership of growing app base through Digital Marketing channels (FB, Insta, Google, Tiktok++)
• Collaborate with the business(category) and creative team in devising communication strategy (creative & messaging) & bringing this to life
• Lead larger business decisions by working with the digital team in creating, analysing & optimizing growth data sets to deliver insights
• Monitor & optimize ROI driven campaigns regularly to meet demand, revenue and budget goals

About the Backend Developer

We are looking at a diligent, driven, passionate person for our efforts on engagement and retention of our customers (schools) in a high growth environment. Backend Developer will be the face of the organisation for the schools that are using the platform on a day to day basis. The Developer will interact with the schools via the chat support and email requests and resolve any issues that the schools might be facing in using the platform or extend any support they might be needing to use the platform to its fullest.

• As a Backend Developer, you will play a major role in, developing and deploying high-quality web platforms. In this multifaceted role, you will get the opportunity to work along curriculum experts, teachers, and students, and user-test the product in real school settings.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed institute
