Job Requirements

Must have:

• Experience working on Node.js with Typescript and Express.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB would be preferred.

Nice to have:

• Experience in ReactJS and its main fundamentals like JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks

• 2+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role

• Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Familiarity with Microservice-based architectures
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
• In-depth, hands-on experience with Linux, networking, server, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools Azure DevOps, AWS cloud formation, Lamda functions, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud PaaS provider.
• Solid understanding of configuration, deployment, management, and maintenance of large cloud-hosted systems; including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
• Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines

• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Streamline the software development lifecycle by identifying pain points and productivity barriers and determining ways to resolve them.
• Analyze how customers are using the platform and help drive continuous improvement.
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments.
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
• Identification and prioritization of technical debt that risks instability or creates wasteful operational toil.

Summary
• The project lead is a core member of the agile teams implementing EdTech solutions. These EdTech solutions, ranging across Learning Platforms, Assessment systems, Simulation Training, and Interactive content, are to be fit-for-purpose, efficient, and of high quality.
• The responsibility of the project lead is to guide the overall implementation of the solutions created by the Zeus Learning team and address day-to-day issues related to the client’s business processes

• Take charge of the project and help it succeed
• Work with cross-functional teams to create a shared vision
• Coordinate all activities to run the project
• Build product roadmaps, run agile ceremonies and manage stakeholder expectations
• Educate teams about software development processes.
• Be the interaction point between Zeus Learning teams and the client and set correct expectations
• Ensure the product shapes up as envisioned

Requirements

• Ability to convert requirements into a learning game outline, plot, game mechanics and storyline.
• Develop dynamic characters and grahics
• Create the rules of the game
• Conduct play testing to test the game concept
• Develop user interface concepts (menus and controls)
• Generate the Game Design Document (GDD)
• Develop and test early prototypes
• Define the user experience
• Work with programmers to design the back end of the game
• Produce sound effects, dialogue, musical score, sound mix and sound edit
• Manage quality assurance testing, and follow up on feedback

• An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.

• Experience with React Js, React Native, JavaScript including DOM Manipulation and JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React Native and its core Principles.
• Good Knowledge of HTML5, CSS.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (Such as Git, SVN or Mercurial)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge of database (MySQL, SQLlite, RealM etc ..)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Web pack, NPM etc.
• Experience with Native Mobile app deployment on App store and google play store.
