The internet produces thousands of stories every hour. The challenge isn't finding content, it's finding the right content. This role exists to identify newsworthy videos, trending conversations, and cultural moments, verify what matters, and package them into content people actually want to click, watch, and share.
What you will own
- Scout newsworthy videos, creator content, and trending conversations across multiple platforms.
- Identify stories and moments worth publishing on AM:PM.
- Research and fact-check information before it reaches our audience.
- Write compelling headlines, video titles, push notifications, captions, and social copy.
- Work closely with the editorial and video teams to package stories for maximum reach and engagement.
- Stay on top of politics, business, technology, entertainment, sports, and internet culture to ensure AM:PM is always ahead of the conversation.
- Move fast without compromising accuracy, credibility, or editorial standards.
Who you are
- 0-2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, journalism, digital media, content or editorial roles.
- You instinctively know where trends and stories break first.
- You can write headlines and notifications that make people stop scrolling.
- You have strong news judgment and understand the importance of fact-checking.
- You are internet-native, curious, resourceful, and obsessed with what's happening online.
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate within commutable distance.

About the role You work under the Senior Editor. Your job is to find the story before everyone else does, write copy that lands in 60 seconds, and source the visuals that make it hit.
This is not a writing job. It's a news job. The output just happens to be video.
What you'll do
- Monitor news across beats: politics, finance, tech, sports, and culture
- Write sharp video scripts and copy that work for short-form format
- Source relevant video takes, clips, and visuals for each story
- Pitch stories daily to the Senior Editor with a clear angle

Pre-launch means the pace is relentless. That's not a warning. That's the point. If you want to own something real and move fast, this is the role. If you need structure handed to you, it's not.
What you'll do
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria engineers pick up without a question
- Run daily syncs with tech, surface blockers before they compound
- Own the backlog, sprint planning, and prioritization calls
- Run user research and surveys, turn findings into decisions
- Keep design, tech, and editorial aligned on what's shipping and when
- Document everything so nothing lives only in someone's head
What we're looking for
- 1 to 3 years in product, startup environment preferred
- Has written user stories a developer doesn't need to interpret

AM:PM is not building another news app. We are trying to change the form itself. The slash mechanic. The wraps. The newsroom. The discourse layer. These surfaces only work if the design pushes the product forward, not if it plays safe. You will decide what AM:PM looks like, feels like, and how users move through it.
What you will own
- Design the AM:PM app end-to-end across wraps, newsroom, and discourse
- Build the slash interaction for opinion and counter-opinion switching so it feels native, not gimmicky
- Create and maintain the AM:PM design system from the brand foundation up
- Use Figma, Claude, and any AI tool that helps you move faster without lowering the quality
- Run usability calls with real Gen Z users and use what you learn, not what you assume6. Work directly with the founding team and CTO to ship what you design
- Experiment fast, kill what does not work, and double down on what does
Who you are
- 1+ years of designing consumer mobile products that have shipped to real users
- You have worked on at least one Gen Z product end-to-end, not just one screen
- Your portfolio shows visual range, motion thinking, product logic, and more than one design language.

This role exists to build that engine end-to-end and turn creators into a serious distribution and credibility layer for AM:PM.
What you will own
- Build AM:PM’s creator and influencer network from zero across news, finance, politics, sports, tech, culture, and internet-led categories
- Own the creator pipeline end-to-end, from sourcing and first outreach to negotiation, onboarding, delivery, and retention
- Identify high-trust niche creators, commentators, pages, communities, and voices before they become obvious to everyone else
- Structure creator deals, low-budget collaborations, barter opportunities, long-term partnerships, and recurring formats
- Manage creator relationships, briefing quality, timelines, feedback loops, performance, and repeat collaborations
- Build and lead the outreach team while still being hands-on with difficult creator conversations and closures
- Work with editorial, content, social, and product teams to make sure creator output fits AM:PM’s voice, speed, and audience
Who you are
- 2-4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, PR, talent management, creator strategy, or social media partnerships
- You have personally closed creator or influencer deals, not just tracked them in a sheet
- You can name creators by handle, explain why they matter, and show proof of relationships or campaigns you have built
- You are sharp, persuasive, persistent, commercially aware, and comfortable getting rejected until the right person says yes
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate within commutable distance
