Position Overview:
As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end finance functions of our organization, with a focus on Indian financial regulations, and Transfer Pricing practices. You are expected to be well versed with recent accounting policies and frameworks. The ideal candidate will have cleared CA Intermediate, experience in a reputed CA firm, hands-on involvement in financial operations, and a solid grasp of Transfer Pricing concepts. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining accurate financial reporting, compliance, efficient financial operations, and optimal TP strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations, in adherence to Indian accounting standards and lean team guidelines.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, following Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements by Indian accounting regulations, and present findings to the management team.
- Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights aligned with Indian financial practices and Transfer Pricing strategies, while optimizing lean team resources.
- Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and analyze financial trends within the context of Indian financial regulations, identifying areas for improvement and effective Transfer Pricing management.
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Income Tax, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations and incorporating Transfer Pricing considerations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits in line with Indian auditing standards, ensuring regulatory adherence and effective Transfer Pricing practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for project costing, pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and Transfer Pricing strategies, considering Indian compliance implications and lean team dynamics.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls that align with Indian financial regulations, optimize lean team efficiency, and incorporate Transfer Pricing practices.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the finance team, fostering their professional growth and development within the context of Indian financial practices, lean team principles, and Transfer Pricing concepts.
- Stay updated on Indian financial regulations, tax laws, compliance requirements, technological advancements, and Transfer Pricing developments to drive process improvements and effective financial management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA Intermediate qualification is mandatory.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in a hands-on finance role, preferably in a small to medium-sized IT services company, with comprehensive knowledge of Indian financial regulations, compliance, and Transfer Pricing.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, aligned with Indian accounting standards.
- Prior experience in a reputed CA firm is essential, showcasing expertise in Indian financial practices, compliance, lean team operations, and Transfer Pricing.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools like ZohoBooks and QuickBooks.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian tax regulations, compliance, and reporting, including GST and Income Tax, within the context of lean team efficiency and Transfer Pricing strategies.
- Solid understanding of Transfer Pricing concepts and practices, with the ability to incorporate them into financial strategies and reporting.
