POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer with strong expertise in Dynatrace, SRE practices, and root cause analysis (RCA). The role focuses on building end-to-end observability across hybrid environments (cloud, on-prem, containers) and performing deep RCA for complex distributed systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement end-to-end observability for hybrid applications
• Perform deep RCA using traces, metrics, logs, and service flow analysis
• Lead P1/P2 incident bridge calls, especially when no clear RCA is visible
• Drive onboarding of applications into Dynatrace with full-stack visibility
• Troubleshoot production issues (performance, data gaps, monitoring inconsistencies)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance
• Communicate incident findings clearly to stakeholders
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace (APM, OneAgent, ActiveGate, RUM, Synthetic, Logs, Davis AI, alerting, anomaly detection, dashboards)
• Expertise in RCA, production troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Solid understanding of hybrid environments (AWS, Kubernetes, ECS, on-prem)
• Experience in observability design and application onboarding
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management under pressure

Candidate must have the following qualifications
- Engineering or Masters degree in CS, EC, EE or related domains
- Proficient in OpenCV
- Profficiency in Python programming
- Exposure to one of the AI platforms like Tensorflow, Caffe, PyTorch
