About the Role We are looking for a Technical Writer to develop end-user documentation for the Zinier platform.The Technical Writer will help us to enrich our knowledge base and developer documentation.As a Technical Writer on the platform product documentation team, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your technical, writing and project management skills, as well as help us define and continually refine our processes. Job Description Create content for Zinier’s learning center and developer documentation Keep emphasis on documentation that is technically accurate and brings clarity for even complex processes. Review documents written by developers / PMs for a particular feature and suggest changes / seek clarity to externalize the same documents. Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code to reduce grounds-up efforts of external developers. Develop and use all types of content types (workflows / process schematics / instructional videos / developer consoles) to simplify the user’s understanding of the Zinier platform. Working with the Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Engineering teams to ensure content completeness and accuracy Assimilate and organize a large amount of technical information into targeted topics that users can easily find and apply. Ensure that documentation consistently aligns with corporate branding, user interface texts, product training, and other information assets across the organization. Coordinate localization efforts for the content you produce. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to build just the right amount of information required to ensure that the documentation is valuable to the customer. Qualifications Bachelor degree in computer science, technical writing, core sciences or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in technical documentation, and / or developer outreach / technology partner management roles. You have experience developing end-user documentation for SaaS applications, especially those targeted towards the developer persona. You have API documentation experience and familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger. Hands-on experience with information/data gathering, and ability to work with multiple subject matter experts and data sources Must be detail oriented and able to work with strict deadlines Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills Preferred experience working with structured XML authoring tools and exposure to tools such as Paligo, Wordpress, Lucid Chart, Visio etc. You are experienced at writing content that is easily translatable into other languages Bonus points if you have direct experience in the enterprise startup space Experience with video capturing software, like Captivate or Camtasia, is preferred
