Job Summary:

This role is for a Senior Technology Lead to drive the strategy and execution across a portfolio of IT

applications involving product backlog management, development, production stability, staffing and

partner management including business users and customers.

Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in IT, with about 10-15 years of experience

in software development using Microsoft ASP.Net, MVC, C#, JavaScript, Jquery and SQL Server. Prior

experience in Finance domain is preferred

Key Responsibilities and skills:

● Strong hands-on technical expertise on Microsoft ASP.Net, MVC, C#, JavaScript, Jqueryand SQL Server

● Exposure to SDLC tools, such as: Visual Studio, JIRA, Git including CI/CD and test automation

● Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and implementation of IT

applications in on-prem and cloud environment.

● Proficient in the software development lifecycle and underlying processes. Exposure to Agile

methodologies is very useful

● Strong communication skills both oral and written to handle team, client and management levels

● Work with business teams in understanding and prioritizing the requirements for future releases

● Developing standards and procedures to ensure that software quality standards are met and

consistent.

● Proven track record in designing and delivering technical solutions

● Strong management experience particularly managing multiple application development teams,

including L1 and L2 support

DirectShifts is growing rapidly and we are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our technical team, working out of India. We need incredibly tenacious engineers who are not only great engineers but who can bring unique value to our rapidly growing team.

You will be responsible for implementing ideas and mocks for our app (web and mobile) which is used daily by healthcare professionals, internal users, and healthcare employers - you will own the frontend development as well as the building blocks and the APIs that power the web app (and the mobile apps). You need to be comfortable dabbling with some basic infrastructure management on AWS.

As an Application Engineer, you will work with our Application Engineering team on designing and developing web applications.

• Collaborate with the business analysts and technical managers to understand functional, non-functional requirements, and scope.

Job Description:

Candidate must have 2 to 5-years of experience in various phase of development of a python-based application or API development.

Requirements:

Must Have:  Strong expertise in PYTHON and its built-in data structures, developing API using flask or fastapi, data wrangling using standard python frameworks like pandas, NumPy etc., integration of various applications (third party or inhouse) with python.
