Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and integrity of databases supporting business-critical applications. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Install, configure, manage, and maintain database systems across development, testing, and production environments.

·      Monitor database performance and proactively perform tuning, indexing, and query optimisation to ensure optimal system efficiency.

·      Design and implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies to safeguard data.

·      Ensure data availability, accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

·      Implement and manage database security, including user access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.

·      Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and performance reporting.

·      Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support deployments and resolve database-related issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.

· Proven experience managing production databases in high-availability environments.

· Relevant database certifications (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) will be an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies:

· Strong expertise in one or more database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB.

· In-depth understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

· Experience with backup, recovery, replication, and disaster-recovery planning.

Job Description:  

As a L3 analyst, you will play a key role within the Application Management team, leading services for its customer(s). This service has responsibility for the smooth daily operational running of the Client platform both in the cloud and on-premises. The Client application is business critical and centrally manages data for trading, settlement, risk, client and regulatory reporting systems. As a L3 analyst, you will be responsible for supporting complex infrastructure and application issues raised by L1/L2 support teams, and business analysts. You would also be working on client requests for enhancements, fixes, maintaining custom code, and following the best practices such as Agile, DevOps, etc.

The role is a technical role requiring a good technical knowledge of SQL/PLSQ, Core Java along with good debugging skill while supporting client implementations. Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and talented backend web application developer, specializing in AWS cloud technologies. In this position you will be joining an in-house development team whose primary responsibility is developing new features and functionality for multiple existing web applications and day to day troubleshooting and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills and have proven experience using popular AWS services commonly used to build serverless web application architectures. Candidates are expected to have strong knowledge of AWS API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB and Python programming. Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure as code frameworks, such as Serverless Framework, Terraform or CloudFormation, etc. is also required.
