Job Summary
The Manager– Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, treasury, and budgeting functions. The role requires a deep understanding of NBFC regulations, financial products, and RBI compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and preparation of financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness in all financial reporting.
- Supervise general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.
Regulatory Compliance & RBI Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate filings of all RBI returns (NBS forms, statutory filings, etc.).
- Keep abreast with RBI circulars and implement necessary changes.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies for statutory, internal, and RBI audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting process.
- Monitor budget variances, perform financial analysis, and provide actionable insights.
Taxation
- Oversee compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax laws including TDS, GST, Income Tax.
- Review tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Work closely with consultants and handle tax assessments and scrutiny.
Internal Controls & Audit
- Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Promote skill development, performance management, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience:2-5years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in NBFCs or BFSI sector
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, RBI regulations, taxation, and financial compliance frameworks
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of RBI compliance, NBFC operations, and regulatory reporting
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems like SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
