Senior/Lead Quality Analyst - Manual/Automation Testing
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, manual testing, performance testing, load testing, and experience with Selenium.
Key Responsibilities :
Test Planning and Design :
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Define and implement test strategies for various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design appropriate test coverage.
Automation Testing :
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation tools.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are integrated with automated testing suites.
Manual Testing :
- Perform manual testing on new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Performance and Load Testing :
- Develop and execute performance and load test scripts to ensure the scalability and reliability of the software.
- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with the development team to optimize system performance.
Quality Assurance :
- Implement and maintain QA processes and best practices to ensure the highest level of software quality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to the development team to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Participate in release planning and provide QA estimates and timelines.
Reporting and Documentation :
- Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present detailed test reports and analysis to management.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and ensure it is up to date.
Team Collaboration :
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes within the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Selenium and other automation tools.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
