VoltusWave Technologies is hiring an experienced QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. This role involves hands-on testing, API validation using Postman, and monitoring AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform API testing with Postman for functionality and reliability and security.
• Analyze logs across AWS services (e.g.DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, Cloudwatch) for debugging.
• Conduct manual testing, including regression, functional, and UAT.
• Log and manage defects using tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders during the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in software testing and AWS.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of manual testing experience.
• Proficiency in AWS services for troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.
• Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• AWS certifications are a strong plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure (in addition to AWS).

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects
• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup 
• Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

As a Software QA +  Support engineer , you will be responsible for the test planning as well as writing and executing functional and non-functional test cases for sprints and releases. You will be a part of an Agile development team and would have full access to the complete development life cycle including opportunity to shape requirements. You will also be responsible to work with customers to help debug issues. We are looking for a relevant experience of about 5 years.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases.
• Experience working directly with customers and/or clients to debug issues or provide resolutions
• Ensures creation of test data to support test case execution and supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets.
• Reviews requirements specifications for testability and verifying/ensuring traceability of testing to requirements and vice versa
• Possess a detailed understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process including user requirement specifications and functional specifications for larger, complex applications.
• Experience working with project management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA is preferred.
• Good Verbal and Written communication skills to communicate quality cross-functionally and with customers in formal and informal settings.

• Deep knowledge in AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse management and FA
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ,R3
• Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, AX 2012 R2, R3 or AX 7/D365FO are a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
