• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

Note: This position is only for lucknow office, loorking for local candidates.

As a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. You'll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. Your role is integral to the creation of software systems and technical products. You'll need to be familiar, or become familiar with, programming and using coding languages.

 

Responsibilities:

• Extensively working on Manual Testing/API Testing/Functional or UI Testing.
• Develop test strategies and test plans for projects.
• Participate in developing and reviewing the test policies for the organization.
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of every release and every software testing level or cycle.
• The use of resources in an effective way and managing the resources for software testing.
• Applying the appropriate test measurement and metrics for the software product and testing team.
• Designing test scenarios for software usability, running these tests, and preparing reports on the effectiveness and defects to the production team.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years-10 years of related work experience in API and Functionality testing preferably in the Payments domain.
• Ability to work in a high-performance environment.
• Must be a Graduate in B. E/BSC. IT/BCA or Equivalent.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Performing Manual Functionality Testing
2. Preparing Documentation like Test Plan, User manual etc.
3. Co-ordination with Business team for requirement understanding
4. Providing operational support as needed

 

Skills & Qualification:

1. BE or MCA
2. 2+ years of relevant work experience
3. Experience in Manual Testing of App, Web and APIs
4. Basic Knowledge of SQL
5. Knowledge of JavaScript and Automation Tool like Selinium, Jmeter etc. is preferred

 

• 3-7 years of hands on experience in mobile app testing - iOS / Android 
• Mobile automation expertise (iOS, Android) using Appium. 
• Experience having automated in an Agile environment. 
• Experience with issue tracking tool (JIRA) and reporting tools. 
• Experience with source code management and build tools - Git, SVN, Maven, Gradle 
• Experience in using Charles Tool / Fiddler 
• Programming language: Java 
• Automation tool: Selenium, Appium 
• Others: Jira, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, TestNG 

• Experience working and automating in REST APIs based WS environment. 
• Strong knowledge on current automation trends. 
• Knowledge of Performance testing on mobile applications. 
• Experience with continuous integration using bamboo/Jenkins

Requirements:

• Experience - At least 2 years experience being part of a QA team with defined responsibilities that gave you exposure to efficient testing and deployment processes.
• Impeccable communication skills - You'll be collaborating with multiple teams, having the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people is necessary.
• Critical thinking skills - You know how to think from a customer's perspective throughout the entire development cycle #empathy. You should be able to create lots of "What If" scenarios and make sure the app is battle-tested to handle those scenarios.
• Quick learner - Typito app is changing at a rapid pace, there is no single way to handle issues that come up. You must adapt quickly to new tools and techniques that keep improving your own workflow.
• Collaboration skills - As mentioned above, you'll be collaborating with developers and product managers, alike. It's important that you understand how to convey important issues to other people, and to listen well. We believe in the power of red-flagging and we expect the QA function to help us get upto speed on challenges faced by our customers.
• Automation testing skills is a strong plus as we would be experimenting with automation suites that can make our QA function more robust and efficient.

Job Brief:

Strong experience as a Developer, QA Engineer, Software Developer in Test or similar QA role.
Minimum 1-2 years strong experience with iOS and/or Android testing frameworks (XCTest, KIF, JUnit, Espresso).

You'll be working as a freelance tester using your iPhone iOS (models 7, 8, or X), with opportunities to participate in test runs at your own discretion. You don't need to have experience in software QA (though you'll get up to speed faster if you do), but you'll need to stick with it if you've never done it before. If you haven't tested before, here are some key success factors: ● You read instructions and understand them. If the instructions say that something is out of scope and you test it, you’re wasting your own time. ● You communicate precisely in English. Bug reporting is a particular form of communication that demands precision, concise wording, and logical ordering. ● You are curious. The best testers aren’t robots who follow a script. They like things that seem mysterious. They deviate from the Happy Path. They like to experiment with apps. ● You spot patterns. Similar bugs occur in unrelated software systems, so being able to sense patterns is very helpful. ● You like games. There does seem to be a high degree of overlap between testers and gamers. Part of it is the thrill of the hunt, and the desire to understand the rules of a system and how to beat them.
