Software Tester

What are we looking for?

• Is an experienced(4+) Quality Assurance Tester
• Has worked on healthcare domain, specifically EHR
• Is well-versed with manual testing
• Is familiar with Agile frameworks and knows what regression testing is
• Is great at communication both written and oral
• Experience and exposure to automation testing would be a plus.
• Must have used JIRA/GitLab etc.. for bug management

What will you do at Digicorp?

• You will review and understand software requirement specifications.
• You will write test cases and release notes.
• You will be collaborating with the Product Manager to develop effective testing strategies and test plans.
• You will execute test cases (manual), analyze test results, and report bugs on JIRA.
• You will interact with a client for understanding issues and provide post-release support.

Before a product is released to the public, it goes through a lot of quality assurance testing: the QA lead organizes and manages that testing. In fact, the QA lead is just as responsible for a successful product launch as the engineers or developers involved in that project. This is a skilled profession that requires previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in the same industry as the company posting the job, along with prior management experience. QA leads typically keep full-time hours, but they may experience periods of overtime closer to product rollouts. Candidates who enjoy testing products and working in fast-paced environments are a great fit for this role.

Here is what we are looking for:

- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge with Manual testing, Mobile app testing, Web Testing, api testing, DB Queries.

- Knowledge of tools like Postman, SoapUI, Appium/Android Espresso, JMeter, etc.
- Plan and execute Functional, Security, and Performance testing multiple product lines (Mobile & Web).
- Experience with Web service technology like REST, XML/SOAP.
- Good understanding of Build, Deployment, Continuous Integration/Delivery process.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Excellent written, oral communication skills and collaboration skills.

• Creating detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Writing manual test cases for the application against the requirements
• Handling the testing project independently
• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
• Verifying test result and logging defect in the tool

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Must have 2- 4 years of manual testing experience in Embedded Systems
• 3-6 years Embedded QA engineering experience
• Expertise in Functional and System Testing
• Experience in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C etc
• Experience in handling the LAB equipments for the embedded devices
• Strong hands-on in embedded product testing
• Knowledge of Audio Testing is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivation with the ability to drive features to delivery

YRG Care

Its objective is to provide prevention, care, support and treatment services for people living with HIV/AIDS, to prevent new infections, and to ensure that patients and their families are treated with dignity. It is one of the sub-recipients of Johns Hopkins University (JHU) for the ACCELERATE program, a five-year program supported by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in India.

Job description:  

• Review and analyse system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases manual and analyse results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
• Development of flow documents of individual modules for Documentation and QA purposes
• The tracking of tasks will be managed via the tool JIRA and the report generated from the tool will substantiate the invoice. Invoice to be produced weekly

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

1. Strong Fundamentals on Manual Testing.
2. Some experience on API Automation Testing .
3. Basic understanding of any of the coding languages.(During the interview one coding question will be asked)
4. Basic understanding of SQL.(During the interview one SQL question will be asked)
5. Preferred Experience ( 2-6 yrs)
