Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer III (Backend), you will operate as a senior

individual contributor owning mission-critical backend systems. You will design

scalable architectures, solve complex distributed systems problems, and influence

engineering standards across teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Own backend systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to

production reliability and long-term evolution.



Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-latency backend architectures for real

time and event-driven use cases.



Lead system design decisions including data models, service boundaries, async

workflows, and scalability strategies.



Build and operate high-throughput services handling millions of events, requests,

or messages per day.

 Own reliability metrics such as p95/p99 latency, uptime, error budgets, and

participate in incident resolution and post-mortems.

Drive architectural migrations including monolith to microservices and

synchronous to asynchronous flows.

 Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to translate complex

requirements into robust backend solutions.



Improve developer productivity by contributing to internal platforms, tooling,

CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.



Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance

without direct people management.



Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, cost inefficiencies, and scalability

risks and resolve them at the system level.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience

• Proven ownership of production systems at scale

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and async architectures

• Experience handling production incidents and system reliability

• Ability to independently design and evolve backend systems

Creating visual concepts and designs:

This involves developing layouts, designs, and illustrations for various materials like websites, brochures, advertising campaigns, and social media graphics. 

Using design software and tools:

Graphic designers need proficiency in software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as other relevant tools. 

Collaborating with teams:

Working with marketing teams, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with business goals and brand guidelines. 

Adapting designs for various mediums:

Adjusting designs for print, digital, and other platforms, ensuring consistency and visual appeal. 

Staying updated on design trends:

Keeping abreast of the latest design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance their skills. 

Reviewing and refining designs:

Incorporating feedback, making revisions, and ensuring that final designs meet quality standards. 

Managing time effectively:

Balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Technical Requirement :

- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

- Strong knowledge in SQLite Database

- Experience in designing and developing custom controls for Android.

- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object orientation design.

- Capabilities to write and execute unit test cases.

- Independent researching, solution finding, analysis and problem solving skills and capabilities.

- Should have a strong knowledge of OOPS and intermediate knowledge of front-end GUI design and development.

- Should have knowledge of Kotlin

- Should have experience in MVC / MVVM Architecture.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, marketers, subject matter experts and other influencers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation and work closely with technology and business team to make products easier to use. This involves Feature Guides, FAQs, Onboarding Guides, Help Documentation, Troubleshooting Guides, Training Manuals, Release Notes and other documentation Design infographics, develop feature walkthrough videos and other engaging content to impart product knowledge to various stakeholders Audit and update the content regularly to ensure relevance with incremental product feature releases, customer use cases, support issues and other internal developments Execute the Content Calendar by building and delivering on the roadmap set by the management Work closely with the creative teams to represent the content in the most suitable visual format Suggest ways to further improve the quality of the documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Arts or Communication 4 to 7 years of experience in technical content writing for SaaS products Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content Demonstrable active presence in online communities such as blogs, discussion forums, LinkedIn articles, Tweets, Quora answers Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to users in the form of text, images, videos, infographics Ability to identify issues, challenges, and gaps associated with the content Ability to understand briefs and translate briefs into high-quality product collaterals Passion for technology, communication and strong understanding of the industry and organization’s mission Basic understanding of web technologies and programming languages to publish viral tech blogs Excellent command over written and verbal communication Adept at Multitasking, creative thinking and working independently

* Development with NodeJS and front-end languages/frameworks (jQuery, ReactJS/AngularJS, CSS3, HTML5)
* 4+ years of SQL experience (MySQL preferred)
* Experience developing RESTful Web Services, Web APIs, and micro-services.
* Integrating with a third-party system via RESTful APIs.
* 4+ years of solid experience with SQL and NoSQL-based solutions.
* Experience with AWS deployments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
