A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and network connections while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Provide first-level support for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Assist users with operating system, application, and connectivity problems.
• Perform system updates, patch installations, and regular maintenance.
• Maintain and manage IT assets, ensuring proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve printer, scanner, and other peripheral issues.
• Support remote users through phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed for system safety.
• Document solutions, processes, and user issues for future reference.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic Linux troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, email configurations, and software installations.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware components.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and system policies.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified are a plus.

• Prepare strategic and operational plans for the Information Communications Technology (ICT) initiatives required for Client and to ensure that all necessary ICT tools, processes and systems are in place to meet the requirements of Client
• Technically supervise and manage all ICT program activities including lead design, development and implementation, technical guidance etc.
• Lead the overall project design, the development of a training strategy for ICT training, coordinate with contractors and other project partners on implementing ICT-related project activities, and oversee content development and management
• Lead the team in appointment of and ensure construction progress.
• Review performance of all the ICT systems/initiatives and Monitor contractors and vendors responsible for multiple implementations including progress and performance reviews.
• Project and program management to ensure ICT related tasks are completed with high standards within established timeframes and budgets; Review and be cognizant of all regulatory and statutory requirements.

DCT is looking for an experienced Drupal Frontend Developer who can deliver stunning visual solutions for Drupal web pages. Will work on international and local projects as well.

Requirements

• Good experience on leveraging APM tools to provide deep dive analysis on performance problems. Deep understanding of the dashboards which can be built for CIO level interactions. Must have relevant experience on APM tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics. 
• Experience in performance optimization of J2EE systems on any of different types of application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss etc. Deep expertise in any one of the application servers is a must.
• Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture.
• Experience on working on Performance Testing Projects. Fair understanding of Performance Testing tools - Apache JMeter /Gatling/ HP Load Runner for Load testing. Must be in a position to review Performance Testing programs and steer directions towards right Workload Model, appropriate Test and Monitoring Strategy, build performance models and derive at right Capacity Planning. 
• Experience in Big Data Analytics like - Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark.
• Good skills in RDBMS like: Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Mongo DB 
• Exposure to Agile methodologies & Continuous Integration Tools
