About the Role

We are seeking engineers with over 1+ years of experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and implementing automation frameworks, as well as a deep understanding of API and database testing. Familiarity with programming scripts in Typescript/ Javascript on the Playwright Framework (preferred). As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the

quality of our software products by developing and executing automated tests, identifying and reporting defects, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Responsibilities:

● Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.

● Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.

● Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

● Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

● Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

● Designing and installing software databases.

● Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a

similar field.

● Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.

● Advanced programming skills including automation systems and

databases.

● Familiarity with programming scripts in Typescript/Javascript on

Playwright Framework (preferred).

● Excellent analytical skills.

● Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.

● Good written and verbal communication skills.

● Good project management skills.

1. 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 yrs in Automation
2. Mobile testing experience with strong basics, understanding of testing and shipping releases on these platforms - iOS, Android, and Web
3. Prior experience in creating optimal test strategy - functional, non-functional, analytics, and automation
4. Experience with relational database and SQL queries
5. Experience of working with JIRA

• Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing.
• Design test automation framework and develop the new test automation libraries; Should be very much hands on with tools like Selenium, Appium etc.
• Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts.
• Design and Develop the Automated solution for Sanity Testing for various repeatable tests.
• Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the workstreams to improve the overall testing cycle
• Participate in the development and support of the testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
• Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team.
• Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events.
• Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.
• Identify testable events and develop the test cases/test scripts.
• Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing team.
• Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create reusable test assets.

• 2-4 years experience of relevant Industry experience. 
• Good understanding of QA methodology, automation expertise, and ability to code
• Experience with Selenium-Web driver, Selenium Grid, Selenium Page Object Model, Page Factory concept
• Experience in designing and implementing test frameworks (like Data driven, Keyword driven or Hybrid along with custom reporting) and strategy for choosing automated testing tools
• Awareness of OO programming (Classes/Methods, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Must possess critical thinking skills in addition to good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to function in a demanding environment;
• Ability to assume the perspective of customers and their users and serve as their advocates
• Experience in Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Karate would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• You will help the team in building a reliable, high-quality automation & manual platform from scratch and test the all of Truemeds products for quality & stability
• You will help the team to set up test environments for automation & manual activities.
• You will be responsible for using the latest technologies to design and maintain automation & manual testing for existing and new products
• Manage efficiently a team of QA Engineers
• Coach and grow our automated and manual QA team members through mentorship, and participate in the hiring strategy and process
• You will be responsible for reliability for major products/releases and ensure all the product gets QA sign-off before release
• Check/review test cases, test plans, and test strategy and consolidate and share test results with various stakeholders.
• Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through efficient test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.
• You will have to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities and Work closely on the deadlines of the project
• Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing.
• You will be a technology champion/mentor, and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software testing experience, 2+ years of management or mentoring experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience with API Automation testing
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in performance testing and load testing
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing cross-browser testing using any automation testing framework
• Experience in automation of Mobile Native and hybrid applications.
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
• Experience managing a team of QA Engineers
• Proficient using tools like - Postman, Rest Client, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, Appium etc
• Good understanding of eCommerce Domain
• Solid understanding of SQL and API testing experience doing data quality testing with large data sets
• Excellent communication as well as documentation skills

Job Description: 

● At least 4 to 8 years of experience in software quality assurance manual testing 

● Proven record of test strategy and planning, STLC, deployment, defect tracking, and test  harness. 

● High degree of initiative with a passion for learning technology. 

● Must have strong hands-on experience on any programming language PHP, React Native JavaScript, HTML, CSS. 

● Must be competent enough on API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.

● Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools (e.g.,  JMeter, load runner). 

● Responsible for coming up with and executing scale tests, performance, and longevity tests.

● Must have testing experience on cloud-based platforms and working knowledge on  integration testing using CI/CD pipelines. 

● Should have working experience with at least one of the MYSQL databases and NoSQL DB viz. 

● Cosmos Db, Cassandra, MongoDB.

● Should have strong fundamental understanding of network topology and the TCP/IP stack  and working knowledge of load balancing methods and deployment architecture

● Experience with GIT Hub, Maven, HP ALM, Jira, Jenkins, code coverage tools and CI/CD
● Exposure of sizing (estimating) the project and defining timelines 

● Good to have knowledge of Platforms like Windows / UNIX / Mainframe.

● Work under the direction of the Game QA Lead to provide test support for two dozen experienced game designers, artists, and engineers. 

● Perform daily smoke tests of game builds, using the build computer and the install scripts.

● Run through and write test plans for existing and new features. Become familiar with the  project design by closely reading project documentation and reaching out regularly to our  team of game developers. 

● Verify that identified bugs are fixed in the database. 

● Identify and bug new issues that occur in the HMD and tablet interface.

● Build on your own fundamental QA skills by learning the specifics of game  development QA for mobile devices, VR headsets, and experimental technology.

● Engage in continuous improvement of the QA process.

• Working experience on Python or Java Selenium, POM, TestNG, Maven, Web application automation, Eggplant scriptingJIRA, Maven, Eclipse.
• Expertise in automating the manual tasks with Batch - Shell scripting, API framework development, Automation framework migration
• Functional expertise on Eclipse - Java, TestNG,Maven, Web application automation, Senstalk
• Exposure to the applications launched on the Linux platforms.
• The role expects overall strong exp in Web Testing, DB test, and API Test areas.
