Position Title : JavaScript / TypeScript Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for experienced JavaScript/TypeScript Engineers to develop cutting-edge AI solutions for US-based companies. You’ll work on innovative projects, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Required Skills :

• 5+ Years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development
• Strong expertise in Node.js/Nest.js (3+ yrs) and React/Vue/Angular (3+ yrs).
• Proficiency in ES6, modular development, scalable architectures.
• Experience with Docker and best coding practices.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Security and Device Management (Intune and Defender):

• Monitor device compliance using Microsoft Intune as per Galaxy Surfactants' endpoint security policies.
• Track Microsoft Defender for Endpoint alerts and escalate incidents as appropriate.
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting (e.g., malware detection, device non-compliance).
• Coordinate with SOC or L2 teams for efficient incident response and resolution.

Azure Security and Management:

• Monitor alerts and insights from Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud.
• Escalate critical vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or unusual activity to L2/L3 teams.
• Conduct routine checks on compliance dashboards and flag anomalies.

Server Security and Hardening:

• Monitor server health and relevant security alerts, including antivirus and patch status.
• Perform basic server access log reviews and report discrepancies as per Galaxy Surfactants standards.
• Support vulnerability tracking efforts and escalate to infrastructure or L2 teams when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT security operations or endpoint management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Security tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of incident management processes and escalation protocols.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Defender.
• Experience working in a SOC or security-focused environment.
• Understanding of server hardening practices and security compliance frameworks.

• Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
• Setting tasks and development goals.
• Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
• Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
• Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
• Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand Work with copywriters and brand leads to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

• Proven graphic designing experience of 5 – 7 years
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

• Key responsibility is to design & develop a data pipeline for real-time data integration, processing, executing of the model (if required), and exposing output via MQ / API / No-SQL DB for consumption
• Provide technical expertise to design efficient data ingestion solutions to store & process unstructured data, such as Documents, audio, images, weblogs, etc
• Developing API services to provide data as a service
• Prototyping Solutions for complex data processing problems using AWS cloud-native solutions
• Implementing automated Audit & Quality assurance Checks in Data Pipeline
• Document & maintain data lineage from various sources to enable data governance
• Coordination with BIU, IT, and other stakeholders to provide best-in-class data pipeline solutions, exposing data via APIs, loading in down streams, No-SQL Databases, etc

Skills

• Programming experience using Python & SQL
• Extensive working experience in Data Engineering projects, using AWS Kinesys,  AWS S3, DynamoDB, EMR, Lambda, Athena, etc for event processing
• Experience & expertise in implementing complex data pipeline
• Strong Familiarity with AWS Toolset for Storage & Processing. Able to recommend the right tools/solutions available to address specific data processing problems
• Hands-on experience in Unstructured (Audio, Image, Documents, Weblogs, etc) Data processing.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data to design and deliver meaningful information
• Know-how on any No-SQL DB (DynamoDB, MongoDB, CosmosDB, etc) will be an advantage.
• Ability to understand business functionality, processes, and flows
• Good combination of technical and interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

• 10+ years’ experience which include analysis, design, architecture, and development along with leadership skills
• Experience with Java/ C/Python is a must.
• Experience hands on full stack architect with deep expertise in architecture design tools and in open source technologies/frameworks such as PostgreSQL, Ceph, Memcached, Redis, MongoDB, Nginx, Tomcat, Apache, angular/react, nodejs, spring boot
• Experience with TSQL/SSRS/SSIS/SSAS/Informatica
• Experience leading multiple, full lifecycle, large-scale Data Migration Projects
• PostgreSQL Database Administrator with proven experience in large scale data migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL
• Experience with complex end to end Cloud migrations to AWS/Azure
• Experience in cloud technologies including designing solutions that use AWS services such as EKS, RDS, S3, ALB, CloudWatch, ElastiCache and Lambda
• Experience in the consulting field with excellent leadership, customer service, oral and written skills, project pricing, and presentation skills
• Certified Solutions Architect with one of the major cloud providers will be a plus
• Experience with healthcare a plus
