Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing technical leadership, design and development of complex pieces of the service oriented architecture based platform.
• Modelling Database Design for large scale applications.
• Develop for performance engineering.
• Design for the right use of micro services, containerization and observability.

About the company:

Clinical Trials are the biggest bottleneck in bringing new drugs, devices, and vaccines to patients. On average, getting a new drug through the trial process takes nearly a decade and frequently costs $1B+. To make it worse, the process is inflicted with a great number of transparency issues. We are aiming to solve this through technology and platformization of clinical trials. We develop and offer next-generation technology platforms to pharmaceutical and biotech companies for running their clinical trials by integrating the entire process in an end-to-end workflow. Since Day 1, our vision is to make clinical trials faster, seamless, accessible to patients, and more transparent. We are driven by our technology-first approach to reduce inefficiency and increase patient-centricity in Clinical Trials. Founded by IIT Roorkee Alumni, Triomics is backed by top investors such as Y Combinator, Nexus Venture Partners, and General Catalyst.

Responsibilities:

1. Writing clean, modular, scalable, and reusable code with well-maintained documentation.
2. Working closely with the founding team to come up with product implementation architecture.
3. Designing and Implementing APIs while closely collaborating with front-end developers.
4. Implementing a stable and automated DevOps pipeline with state-of-the-art cloud services.
5. Developing database schemas and routinely evaluating them as per product requirements.
6. Maintaining a high coverage of testing by implementing Unit as well as Integration tests.

Tech Stack:

Our tech stack includes Python, Django, PostgreSQL for the backend, and ReactJS for the frontend.
We also use Celery and Redis for scheduling and multiple AWS services combined with docker for
deployment.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors in Computer Science or related field with 1-6 years of experience
2. Have implemented and deployed at least 1 or 2 production-level applications in the past.
3. Strong experience with Python (Django) as well as REST APIs.
4. Comfortable working with SQL Databases (Preferably PostgreSQL)
5. Experience with DevOps - Docker or Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS.
6. Prior experience of working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.

5+ year’s hands-on product development experience,
technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation
and investigation in a cloud environment (specifically AWS and/or
Azure), preferably with IoT products.

● Good verbal & written communication skills in English

Skills in priority

This person MUST have:
- B.E Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 years experience with the Django framework
- Experience with building APIs (REST or GraphQL)
- Strong Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- React.js knowledge would be an added bonus
- Understanding on how to use a database like Postgres (prefered choice), SQLite,
MongoDB, MySQL.
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis.
- A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.
- Strong communication skills.

Location:

Timings:
- 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone. Typically
clients are in California PST Timezone.

WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I HAVE ?
For this role we expect you to have 3+ years of experience in Backend development. You should have strong command
of Python, REST and Flask/Django along with some experience in GIT is nice to have. If you have knowledge about client
side languages like JS, ReactJS and experience in API design and development, it is a huge plus.
You should be knowledgeable about programming languages, operating systems, networks, databases and SQL,
algorithms, architecture, code design and design patterns

The ideal person for this role is a problem-solver with an inquisitive and innovative mind, who loves to collaborate with other teams to drive the company forward. Requirements : You have understanding of basic algorithms and data structures, complexity analysis and software design. You have experience implementing event sourcing and micro-services architecture. You have 2 + years of hands-on experience creating technology systems using any of the languages such as Python, Node, Java Knowledge of front end frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js is a plus. You have some experience and good understanding of at least one open-source distributed system (such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.).
