In this role, you will work closely with both our development and product teams to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for our web and mobile applications. Your expertise will help us drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to keep our software at the cutting edge of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using React & NextJS with TypeScript for frontend testing, and NodeJS and Django environments for backend testing.
- Lead the creation and execution of automated and manual tests to ensure the highest quality product standards.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate REST APIs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our applications across all platforms.
- Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings with product managers, developers, and designers to define and refine feature specifications and release schedules.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by participating in code reviews, documenting best practices, and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our testing frameworks and tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in frontend development technologies such as React & NextJS with TypeScript, with a keen understanding of testing frameworks suited for these technologies.
- Strong background in backend development environments like NodeJS and Django, with experience in creating and testing RESTful services.
- Familiarity with database technologies, including MongoDB and Postgres, and an understanding of their integration into the development and testing process.
- Experience with DevOps tools, including Docker, for creating and managing development and testing environments.
- A passion for quality, with a track record of implementing practices that improve both product quality and team efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
