QA Engineer(Manual & Automation)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and analysis. This role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The specific responsibilities and required experience will vary depending on the level (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior, or Lead).   

Responsibilities (Adjust based on the level):

• Test Planning and Execution:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Utilize test management tools to organize and track testing activities.
• For Senior/Lead roles: Design test strategies, and provide mentorship to junior testers.
• Defect Management:
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Verify defect fixes and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Requirements Analysis:
• Review and analyze software requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
• Provide feedback on requirements and design documents.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.   
• Communicate testing progress and results effectively.
• For Senior/Lead roles: Lead meetings, and communicate with upper management.
• Automation (For Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead):
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).
• Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Perform performance and load testing using appropriate tools

Roles and responsibilities:

• Good understanding of QA methodology, automation expertise and ability to code.
• A keen understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment is needed.
• Develop, Execute the test cases and Report Bugs
• Send regular status reports, on bugs and functionality, tested
• Record test results, screenshots, etc. (failed ones)
• Create the test report and Conduct post-testing clean-up
• Run the regression tests
• Suggest fixes, identify functional problems and document technical issues and solutions
• In-depth knowledge of the SDLC as well as various software testing methodologies.
• Perform Functional/Black box testing, SQL queries, and Data Analysis.
• Using Bug tracking (Trello/JIRA), Project Tracking and SVN software produced various reports/metrics.
• Support the testing phase (system testing, SIT, UAT, non-regression testing) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes.
• You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
• Manage and communicate regular updates on project status like work completed, work in progress, next steps, risks, mitigation, quality to QA manager and stakeholders.
• Present complex technical ideas (both written and verbal), anticipate potential objections and persuade others to adopt the most appropriate view.
• Establish an end-to-end view and capture all key requirements. establish clear functional and non-functional requirements like capacity, availability, and response times.
• Ensure that all requirements are 'testable' and agree on test strategy with the business and test team lead.
• Should have basic knowledge on integrating API Keys for AI tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in Automation testing is preferred.
• Experience in testing various applications, services, and user interfaces
• Experience in test automation and creating repeatable, maintainable, automated

• Understanding of test-driven development

We are looking for an experienced and innovative quality analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing the planning, design and execution of several test plans, test scripts and process plans for different projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Execute test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans for new components and help root-cause issues working with software development teams.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate in product and feature design with developers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications

• Quality Analyst (Manual) = 2 Openings
• Relevant Experience: Manual min 2 years
• Education: BE / BTec/ MCA / MTec / ME / Msc
