Why this role exists

We're looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in complex, enterprise-

scale software to join our Agile product team and be a quality champion embedded across the full

software development lifecycle — from refining user stories to post-release checks — ensuring we ship

reliable, performant software at pace. With core strengths in understanding applications and business

processes, designing test strategies, test plans and validating acceptance criteria via detailed test

cases. Experience in QA automation is a plus — not the focus.

What you'll do

 Own test strategy and perform end to end execution for complex, multi-module features

 Shape quality upstream. Partner with product and engineering to clarify acceptance criteria

and Definition of Done and raise quality risks while they're still cheap to fix.

 Test new features. Exploratory and scenario-based testing of new functionality

 Own the regression suite end to end - its architecture, conventions, quality bar, and roadmap.

 Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards across the team.

Must-haves

 Ownership mindset - you can take a test suite as your own, set its standards, make and

defend trade-off decisions, and say no when coverage isn't worth it.

 Product and feature literacy - you can look at a feature, reason about what matters to users,

and translate that into the right tests, acceptance criteria, and risk-based priorities.

 Strong exploratory and scenario-based testing - boundary, negative, and edge-case

thinking.

 API testing of REST services and comfort reading Swagger/OpenAPI specs.

 Solid SQL skills for data validation and defect investigation.

 Clear communication and the ability to mentor; comfortable in Agile/Scrum/Kanban.Nice-to-have

 Hands-on browser automation with Playwright (or strong Cypress/Selenium with willingness

to move to Playwright), in TypeScript/JavaScript.

 Comfort with AI-assisted development tooling (Claude Code, Playwright MCP, Copilot) as an

accelerant for writing and self-healing tests.

 Experience building or substantially evolving a test suite from scratch, not just maintaining

one.

 Domain exposure to LegalTech, FinTech, or Billing/AR workflows.

 Awareness of non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, security)

• Manual testing

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS or BS in Computer Science or a related subject.
• At least five (5+) years of web application testing and automation experience.
• Taking complete ownership of product testing efforts.
• Proficiency in Java/ Python or any other Object-Oriented Language.
• Experience of Selenium & WebServices or REST API testing or backend testing
• Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience in CI/ CD setup preferably with Jenkin
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expert in methodically developing use-cases-
• Expert at writing automation test cases using Selenium.
• Expert at testing the web application for both functionality and performance.

Job Description :

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review

• Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles

Job Profile Requirement : 

Experience of testing web applications, mobile applications.

• Knowledge of Responsive Testing

• Strong verbal and written (technical) communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports, documentation and feedback to both product owners and software developers.

What you need to have: 

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
3. Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have
4. Experience in Mobile AppDev and Test management tool (JIRA, qTest) and
5. Monitoring/Troubleshooting Tools Splunk, DynaTrace, SOAP UI 

1.  2+ of experience in producing test plans and creating test UI scripts/cases
2. Good experience of the management of all or part of the Mobile AppDev and UI Test execution phase in projects

• Play an active role in QA activities during all phases of our product development from requirements elaboration, design/development, test and deployment
• Responsible for manual and automated testing activities for a multi-tier web-based platform. This includes writing test cases based on business requirements, test data creation, creating and maintaining automated scripts to test front-end, APIs and database changes
• Creating and maintaining all QA related documentation throughout the process
• Execution of the test phase consistent with the overall project schedules
• Direct interaction/facilitation of bug resolution with engineering teams
• Work effectively within a dynamic team environment following standards and best practices and ensure the highest level of quality
• Ability to understand the technical architecture, its implementation, design patterns, data representations and infrastructure powering these systems.
• Work closely with software devs and solution architects to understand the tech stack, design and accordingly build the test frameworks, setup infra and build execution models to drive the end-to-end quality efforts of backend systems/services and client apps
• Debug test failures, read through logs, network calls and make preliminary root cause analysis of defect/bug
• Develop test plans, test cases, test design documents with good coverage and optimised testing approach
• Should be able to identify the test cases qualifying for test automation
• Use of tracking tools to log, manage, resolve and report on bugs

Candidate requirements

Must have

• At least 2-4 years of experience in manual and automated quality assurance
• Experience on automation tools like TestNG, Selenium (Grid, parallel, SauceLabs), Mocha_Chai frontend or backend test automation
• Good understanding of REST APIs and a solid experience in testing them
• Tools like Jira, Asana or similar bug tracking tool, Confluence - Wiki, Jenkins - CI tool
• Knowledge of different browsers and cross-platform operating systems
• Keen eye for design and functional UX
• Strong in writing SQL queries
• Proficiency in git
• Ability to develop or maintain applications for test automation
• Excellent written and oral communication and organisational skills with the ability to work within a growing company with increasing needs
• Proven track record of ability to handle time-critical projects

Good to have

• Experience in working in a distributed micro-service environment
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or any other programming language
• Hands-on experience in testing frameworks like Pytest or testing platforms like BrowserStack
• Built APIs at some point and practical knowledge on working with them
• Good understanding of CI/CD
• Ability to independently manage test environment deployments and handle issues around it
• Performed load testing of API endpoints
• Should have built an API test automation framework from scratch and maintained it
