Understand product requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

Perform manual functional, regression, UI, and integration testing.

Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.

Perform database validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity.

Create, manage, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.

Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team for the Jupiter project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of quality assurance principles. You will play a key role in ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for complex technical projects.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects through the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
• Participate in release validation, UAT, and production support activities.
• Provide detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Apply QA methodologies and best practices to improve overall product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on QA experience in testing complex software systems.
• Strong understanding of QA theory, processes, and methodologies.
• Solid system thinking and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of SQL and Linux fundamentals.
• Excellent verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Finance / Banking domain.
• Basic programming or automation skills.
• Hands-on experience in Exploratory Testing.
• Experience supporting UAT or production environments.

JD for QA Engineer:

• Must have worked on web based applications like React(Frontend) and Drupal CMS(backend)
• Understand requirements, develop test plan, execute manual test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly.
• Strive for excellence in quality by looking beyond obvious scenarios and stated requirements and by keeping end user needs in mind.
• Deliver a high quality robust product in a fast paced environment.
• Work closely with the Development, Product Management, Design and Content team for release of the feature/product.
• Recreate production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.

Required Skills:

• Graduate or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC
• Strong testing & technical skills with excellent knowledge of designing tests for early defect identification.
• Hands on experience in creation and execution of test cases/test plans.
• Experience of SQL and Database and API Testing.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Performance, and Security Testing techniques.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and hands-on with Unix shell commands.
• Hands on experience with technologies like React, and Drupal CMS

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects
• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup 
• Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques
• Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

• Having 6+ experience as a QA/SDET
• Having good knowledge on iOS/Android App based apps testing.
• Having good exposure on mobile based application testing and testing process.
• Good knowledge on backend API testing
• Good in writing manual test cases with all possible scenarios.
• Good exposure on JIRA, Zypher and QC.
• Good in debugging skills and ELK stack.
• Good to have experience in Java and automation technologies 

• Developing import functionality from Excel to ERP on premise
• Preparing test scripts for testing the configured scenarios
• Testing may also include Unit testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing
• Testing the end to product scenarios in line with product standards and resolving conflicts with the help of technical team

Desired Candidate Profile

• At least five years' experience in ERP implementation, configuration, system design or related business experience
• Good command on SSRS reporting and Technical
• Excellent online presentation skills using Teams. Able to implement both Discrete and Process Manufacturing
• Deep knowledge in AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse management and FA
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ,R3
• Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, AX 2012 R2, R3 or AX 7/D365FO are a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
