Quality Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that software applications meet high standards of quality, performance, usability, and user experience.

The role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify, report, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Test applications from a real-world user perspective to ensure usability, functionality, and accessibility.
• Perform sanity checks after deployment across different environments.
• Track, log, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Zoho, ensuring clear and accurate issue reporting.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, defect reports, QA status reports, and test execution records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices and QA processes.
• Understand and apply the Bug Life Cycle for accurate defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity during testing.
• Use REST API testing tools such as Postman for API validation.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and defect management tools such as Jira or Zoho.
• Familiarity with REST API testing and API validation tools such as Postman.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend and database validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• 2–4 years of experience in Manual Testing or a similar QA role.
• Exposure to basic performance testing and security testing is preferred.

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA (Quality Assurance) professional to join our team in Indore. As an Automation QA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify areas for automation and implement efficient testing strategies.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.     Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools.

2.     Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across different platforms and environments.

3.     Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test plans.

4.     Collaborate with developers to ensure that test cases are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

5.     Analyze test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner, providing detailed information to facilitate debugging and resolution.

6.     Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide QA input and feedback.

7.     Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

8.     Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.

Requirements

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Click Up, Jira, etc.)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• 2+ yrs experience with manual testing on mobile (automation testing is an advantage) 
• Manual testing experience in testing for Android & iOS is MUST
• JIRA or other bug tracking tool experience 
• The QA Analyst will be expected to complete manual testing on both iOS and Android devices, be able to enter findings into Jira, and follow up on defects discovered
• PRD Reviews, Test Case coverage and Execution, able to handle End to End Application testing and release process.
• API testing experience and Basic SQL knowledge
• ADB commands, Android Studio, Xcode, Understanding Logs, SDK’s.
• Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is maintained.                                                                                                                Good To Have Skills :
