Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Trainee to join our growing team. This role is ideal for freshers who want to start their career in Manual Software Testing. You will work closely with developers to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, log, and track bugs/defects clearly
• Perform basic regression testing
• Coordinate with developers to resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain test reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of manual testing concepts
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow in QA/Testing
• Freshers (0–6 months experience) are welcome

JD for QA Engineer:

• Must have worked on web based applications like React(Frontend) and Drupal CMS(backend)
• Understand requirements, develop test plan, execute manual test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly.
• Strive for excellence in quality by looking beyond obvious scenarios and stated requirements and by keeping end user needs in mind.
• Deliver a high quality robust product in a fast paced environment.
• Work closely with the Development, Product Management, Design and Content team for release of the feature/product.
• Recreate production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.
• Stay current with the latest technology, tools and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to peers.
• Self-starter, takes initiative, identifies and completes tasks, should be goal driven.

Required Skills:

• Graduate or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC
• Strong testing & technical skills with excellent knowledge of designing tests for early defect identification.
• Hands on experience in creation and execution of test cases/test plans.
• Experience of SQL and Database and API Testing.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Performance, and Security Testing techniques.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and hands-on with Unix shell commands.
• Hands on experience with technologies like React, and Drupal CMS

Note: immediate joiners.(Good communication, React and Drupal CMS must have skills)

This person MUST have: 

- BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent. 

- Experience testing IOT devices managed by cloud. 

- Manual testing experience and a desire to learn and work with the latest technologies. Web, Cloud and Mobile App testing. 

- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; schedule and execute test cycles; contribute to testability & quality of software. 

- Reports all defects accurately; facilitate problem tracking and successful resolution; assess and communicate various risks involved and provide necessary assistance to engineers and stakeholders. 

- Basic knowledge of automation know-how [ API automation, Python] - Test to fail mindset, Solid test strategy experience, well versed with QA processes. - Hands on experience on Performance test angle. 

Experience: 

- Min 1 year experience 

- Not more than 10 year experience. 

Location 

- Remotely, anywhere in India 

Timings:

- 40 hours a week (9 PM IST to 2 AM IST(10 hours in your suitable time) , Monday to Saturday).

• Responsible for the quality of product visible to millions of users.
• Prepare proper documentation for test cases, release notes, etc.
• Keep track of bugs and prioritize those in coordination with Product Managers.
• Write and execute detailed test cases for upcoming features and ensure customer requirements and development is closely aligned.

• Good knowledge of frontend and backend technologies.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium.
• Experience working in agile methodology.
• Experience with API automation testing.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage workload and consistently deliver results.
• Understanding of the different types of testing between UAT, Security and Performance.
• Ability to generate benchmarks by comparing similar products / services.

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
• 2 – 3 years experience as a QA engineer on native mobile (android and ios) and web applications.
