Software Test Engineer

This person MUST have:
- BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent.
- Experience testing IOT devices managed by cloud.
- Manual testing experience and a desire to learn and work with the latest
technologies. Web, Cloud and Mobile App testing.
- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; schedule and execute test cycles;
contribute to testability & quality of software.
- Reports all defects accurately; facilitate problem tracking and successful
resolution; assess and communicate various risks involved and provide
necessary assistance to engineers and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of automation know-how [ API automation, Python]
- Test to fail mindset, Solid test strategy experience, well versed with QA processes.
- Hands on experience on Performance test angle.

- Not more than 10 year experience.

Timings:
- 40 hours a week (9 PM IST to 2 AM IST(10 hours in your suitable time) , Monday to
Saturday).

What you will do:

• Developing import functionality from Excel to ERP on premise
• Preparing test scripts for testing the configured scenarios
• Testing may also include Unit testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing
• Testing the end to product scenarios in line with product standards and resolving conflicts with the help of technical team

 

Desired Candidate Profile

What you must have:

• At least five years' experience in ERP implementation, configuration, system design or related business experience
• Good command on SSRS reporting and Technical
• Excellent online presentation skills using Teams. Able to implement both Discrete and Process Manufacturing
• Deep knowledge in AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse management and FA
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ,R3
• Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, AX 2012 R2, R3 or AX 7/D365FO are a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Work hand-in-hand with developers to understand the flow of modules and document it. Execution of test cases/test scripts for manual/automation testing. Should have working knowledge of SQL server. Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases. Analyze data and results of tests, record defects, provide status. Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA or similar tools/means. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. Build Deployment on Test Environment. Requirements: Experience in end-to-end user testing for minimum 1-2 yrs. Have prior experience with manual testing in web and Android applications. Logging bugs, detailed test reports, screenshots, and videos in the bug tracker during pre-release and post-release testing. User & usability testing on the design prototypes being passed to the development team. Well versed with Agile testing methodologies. Opportunity to define, design, tool and implement entire Automated testing using Selenium/TestNG/Appium or any other tool of choice. Ability to stick to deadlines. Manage regular exploratory testing campaigns by employing a large number of short-term remote testers. Must have experience in writing TDD and BDD test cases. Analyze test logs, and report test results/metrics.
