Responsibilities
- Create art in a wide range of styles from semi-realistic to cartoon, from scratch to implementation in the game.
- Conceptualize the visual designs and express those ideas using illustrations, sketches and references.
- Create final in-game artwork, style guide and game graphics.
- Develop visual assets like characters, background environment, sprites, UI assets and props using Photoshop, Illustrator and comparable tools.
- Work closely with the development team to create animations and effects for key gameplay events and game interface screens.
- Integrating special effects to textures, scenes and events, including weather effects, particle systems, sparking wires, smoke, haze, billowing dust, steam vents, and explosions in Unity.
Required Skill set:
- Has a portfolio of digital art, animation and/or at least one game that has been published on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or other distribution channels, which we can review
- Experience & knowledge in creating vector art, sprite creation, UI assets, Sprite GIF animation frame by frame.
- Clear understanding and ability to create cartoons with semi-realistic characters maintaining proportions and perspective.
- Basic understanding of the Game Development process and familiarity with Unity (Game Engine).
- Environment compositing, colouring and lighting to depict different moods and aesthetics.
- Extensive experience with art tools and authoring tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, procreate etc.
- Adaptability of creating different Casual Game Art styles.
- Knowledge of extracting art in different layers, formats, resolutions and sizes in Photoshop according to optimization requirements.
- Knowledge of 2D and familiarity with the principles of animation.
- Strong use of research and reference material in support of idea generation and problem-solving;
- Very good communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude.
Good to have:
- Creating sound effects, conducting audio mixes, and design
- Knowledge of game design principles.
- Ability to drive any environment sketch to photorealistic illustration.

- Responsible for the overall merchant onboarding operational performance
