FigmaKey Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas
- Design high-fidelity UI mockups and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications using modern prototyping tools
- Utilize AI tools (e.g. Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Dall-E) for brainstorming, ideation, rapid visual concepting, and asset generation
- Integrate Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities into user experiences where applicable, collaborating with the product and engineering teams to explore innovative solutions
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistency and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with UI/UX trends, emerging AI technologies, and best practices
- Present and justify design decisions to peers and stakeholders
- Work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design (adjust depending on your role level)
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for web and/or mobile platforms
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (including Figma AI features), Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Dall-E, or similar for creating visuals, concepts, or content
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and usability best practices
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS and how designs translate into code is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
