We are looking for a results-driven Software Tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability and provide quality assurance from the stage of software development to deployment. You'll conduct manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.

Position Overview:

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Manual Quality Analyst with specialized experience in mobile and web application testing. The successful candidate will have a rich background in manual testing methodologies, ensuring that our mobile and web applications function seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing & Validation: Lead manual testing efforts for both mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications.

2. Test Design: Design, document, and execute manual test cases and test scripts based on real-time requirements.

3. Cross-Platform Testing: Validate functionalities across various device types, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes.

4. Defect Management: Identify, document, and manage defects, ensuring effective defect tracking and resolution.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with the development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, use-cases, and user journeys.

6. Performance & Load Testing: Manually simulate multiple users to test the application's performance and behavior under peak loads.

7. Usability Testing: Ensure that applications are intuitive and user-friendly.

8. Regression Testing: Manually verify that previously developed and tested software still functions after a change.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, predominantly in manual testing of mobile and web applications.
• Proficient understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and manual testing best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Good to have prior experience using Test management tools like JIRA, Postman, Bugzilla etc
• Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar is added advantage

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in automation and manual testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern testing frameworks like Cypress and Jest. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, ensuring software quality through API testing, cross-browser testing, and responsive testing.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.

● Conduct automation testing using Cypress, Jest, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

● Perform API testing using Postman, REST API Testing, and GraphQL testing.

● Ensure software quality through cross-browser testing and responsive testing.

● Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira and LogRocket.

● Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and improve software quality.

● Debug issues using advanced browser debugging tools and logs.

● Ensure security and authentication best practices by testing various authentication types (OAuth, JWT, API Keys, etc.).

● Work in an Agile environment, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

● Use Git version control to collaborate on test scripts and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

● 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested.
• Based on the information procured in the above step, decide how it is to be tested.
• Inform the test lead about what all resources will be required for software testing.
• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects
• Identifying and selecting the functional test cases
• Creating a functional test plan and getting approval
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
• Managing the changes and executing regression tests
• Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, syntax and queries

Requirements: 

• Must have proven experience of 2-4 years of Industry experience.
• Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
• Familiarity with various testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Bug tracking tools like JIRA and Trello
• Great if you have worked on any of the Automation Testing Projects also.
• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC.

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards

• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

As a Software QA +  Support engineer , you will be responsible for the test planning as well as writing and executing functional and non-functional test cases for sprints and releases. You will be a part of an Agile development team and would have full access to the complete development life cycle including opportunity to shape requirements. You will also be responsible to work with customers to help debug issues. We are looking for a relevant experience of about 5 years.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases.
• Experience working directly with customers and/or clients to debug issues or provide resolutions
• Ensures creation of test data to support test case execution and supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets.
• Reviews requirements specifications for testability and verifying/ensuring traceability of testing to requirements and vice versa
• Possess a detailed understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process including user requirement specifications and functional specifications for larger, complex applications.
• Experience working with project management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA is preferred.
• Good Verbal and Written communication skills to communicate quality cross-functionally and with customers in formal and informal settings.
