Quality Assurance Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance & Software Testing.

● Strong expertise in JIRA for bug tracking and test management.

● Proficiency in manual testing, including UI, functional, regression, and integration testing.

● Experience in automation testing using Selenium, JMeter, or similar tools (preferred).

● Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

● Familiarity with SQL queries for database validation.

● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• 4-8 years of experience in Functional testing with good foundation in technical expertise
• Experience in the Capital Markets domain is MUST
• Exposure to API testing tools like SoapUI and Postman
• Well versed with SQL
• Hands on experience in debugging issues using Unix commands
• Basic understanding of XML and JSON structures
• Knowledge of FitNesse is good to have

Introduction:

We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented person to help us test our code. As a QA Tester, you will work alongside our engineering team to ensure that our code is top-notch. By performing tests on our code and communicating the results with our engineering team, you can help us produce the most effective products that delight our clients. Your expertise will be crucial to help us identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and any other issues.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will collaborate with the engineering team and shall be responsible for:

• Test new and existing features (units and integration) and report errors and failures

• Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases

• Gathering requirements

• Test automation and test methodology (ex: TDD or BDD)

• Expertise in Test case design and test case execution.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Manual Tester

• Experience in Manual testing dashboards and chatbots shall be a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or college diploma in QA Testing

Job Description -

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with a Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a similar degree. Candidates should have experience in mobile application testing in Android/iOS platforms. As a Mobility QA Engineer, Will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems in mobile application products.

Designation/Role Name: Software Test Engineer (Mobility)

Experience range: 1 to 5 years of experience

Responsibilities -

· Test current products and identify deficiencies

· Suggest solutions to identified product problems

· Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction

· Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy

· Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution

· Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement

Skills/Expertise :

· Strong in software testing & QA concepts and test case writing with a break the system approach.

· Ability to test on different platforms,devices and cloud devices tools like Browserstack.

· Experience in developing automated test scripts in mobile app testing using tools like Appium and Selenium.

· Ability to develop test framework for mobile application testing using open source tools and technology.

· Scripting languages such as Java, python or Javascript.

· Experience in using configuration management or version control tools like GIT.

· Hands-on experience in Android Studio and xCode instrument for Android and iOS application error logs debugging and monitoring the memory leakage.

· Knowledge of identifying the API requests from the mobile clients using the Charles Proxy tool.

· Hands-on experience with IDEs like Eclipse , Android studio, IntelliJ IDEA.

· Knowledge of MYSQL and Database concepts for database testing.

Good to have :

· Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins will be an add-on.

· Knowledge of Codecept.js, Puppeteer test frameworks

Functional: Manual Functional Testing of Web and Mobile Applications, Writing Test Cases, Regression Testing, Data Verification, GIT & JIRA, Basic Automation Testing,
Testing feeds - Understanding of JSON and XML structures, Testing tools like Postman, Swagger & Charles Proxy, Browser Development Tools,GIT & JIRA.

Position description: 2+ years of hands on experience in testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To work closely with software developers and product planners to understand more about what the product is for, its key features and the intended audience
• Required to carry out a mix of key functional and non-functional tests such as Sanity, Regression, Load, Security and Deployment
• Required to plan test cases in consultation with the stake holders
• Required to document all bugs and findings of these tests and ensuring they are addressed

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
3. Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have
4. Experience in Mobile AppDev and Test management tool (JIRA, qTest) and
5. Monitoring/Troubleshooting Tools Splunk, DynaTrace, SOAP UI 

1.  2+ of experience in producing test plans and creating test UI scripts/cases
2. Good experience of the management of all or part of the Mobile AppDev and UI Test execution phase in projects
3. Work in Agile methodology with TDD
4. Experience in API and Database Automated Testing
5.  Hands on experience of iOS (Objective C/Swift) and Android (Kotlin) technologies
6. Hands on experience in developing test artifacts and processes. Should have done test reporting with good clarity and no ambiguity
7. Experienced working in an onshore/offshore environment with flexible and adaptable working style to work with aggressive project schedules
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
