Key Responsibilities

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Database Management: Work extensively with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM to design, optimize, and maintain databases.
• API Integration: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance platform functionality.
• E-commerce Projects: Develop and enhance e-commerce solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences and efficient backend operations.
• SaaS Development: Contribute to the development of SaaS-based features and services, ensuring multi-tenant support and scalability.
• Microservices Architecture: Design, build, and deploy microservices to support modular and scalable applications.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency:Strong expertise in Node.js and React.js.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and experience using Prisma ORM.
• Hands-on experience with API development and integration.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and their technical requirements.
• Experience in SaaS product development and multi-tenant architecture.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and version control practices.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
• DevOps Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with e-commerce frameworks or libraries.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and WebSocket implementations.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.

• Understand platform requirements & coordinate with the development agency for smooth development of our platform
• Make incremental design or developmental changes on the platform on a regular basis
• Ideate & develop new features on our platform
• Conduct regular testing of website performance & fixing bugs (either through agency or by self, whatever applicable)
• Work with UI/UX designer to implement design systems & user experiences

• Proven experience of 2-3 years as a full-stack developer or similar roles
• Experience in developing scalable desktop and mobile applications
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Hands on experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)

Technical knowledge

• Design and implement software components using up-to-date technologies and best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of the REST architecture.
• Strong working experience in Angular,HTML5, CSS3
• Strong working experience in Container Orchestration Management on-premise and public cloud (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
• Overall understanding of the Service Oriented Architecture

• Should possess prior experience in building distributed multi-tier applications with single sign-on.
• Continuous Integration (CI) and Automated Deployment on AWS/Azure
• Static and dynamic code quality analysis
• Should understand the dynamics of the full-stack development and guide junior team members.
• Experience in developing enterprise-scale software platforms
• Should have hands-on experience in managing releases.
• Build applications using Azure Services and deploy them on Azure Infrastructure.

About the platform: We are solving an interesting problem and changing the way healthcare businesses in the US communicate with their patients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related discipline is NOT MANDATORY. Skills and passion to build products that people love are mandatory. :)
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Full-stack experience working with backend programming languages as we believe engineers can do anything and everything and so everyone at Emitrr works full-stack.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Good understanding of React.js and its core principles with experience with working on popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience in building performant mobile apps in iOS or Android on react native is a plus
