Account Executive – US (POS | Payments | Fintech)
About the Role
We are seeking a quota-carrying US Account Executive to join our Point of Sale (POS) sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue by closing new business with US SMB merchants and reseller partners across retail and restaurant segments.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience selling POS, payments, or fintech solutions and understands how US SMBs evaluate and purchase technology. This is a full-cycle sales role with clear ownership from qualified lead to closed-won deal.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle for US POS opportunities, from SDR-qualified leads through close
- Conduct consultative product demos, aligning POS workflows, integrations, and features to merchant business needs
- Close new business with US merchants and reseller partners across retail and restaurant verticals
- Navigate and compete effectively within the US POS and payments landscape
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline hygiene, and sales forecasts
- Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, partner discussions, and industry forums
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in POS, merchant services, payments, or fintech
- Proven success selling to US SMB merchants
- Strong discovery, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Experience working in an SDR-led sales motion
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience selling into restaurants, QSRs, retail, or liquor stores
- Background in payments or reseller/partner-led sales models
- Exposure to industry events, trade shows, partner calls, or live product demos
- Comfortable leading booth demos and engaging prospects in high-volume sales environments
