Vijay Sales is looking for an experienced and motivated MERN Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development of web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. As a MERN Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient web solutions that enhance user experience and business functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development Efforts: Oversee the development and deployment of web applications using the MERN stack. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers. Provide technical leadership and build a high-performing development team. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Architecture Design: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define system architecture and technology stack. Make decisions on technology and architecture to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Project Management: Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including DevOps, QA, and design teams, to align on requirements, best practices, and project goals.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve application performance, security, and reliability.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Advocate for and implement new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior developer role.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and micro-services architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
- Strong understanding of database design and management.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks/libraries including end to end testing including Automation and Manual testing.
