JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Job Location-​ Bhubaneswar
-Staying on top of advances in Web technology, keeping up with software development and quickly
-Adapting to new development tools and techniques.
-You need to have the knack of learning new stuff especially things related to the Web, Usability, and Interfaces.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like
- jQuery/Dojo and advanced CSSAs as a candidate, you are expected to create interfaces that areas
-Brilliant in their looks as they are in their usability techniques like CSS Spriting is an advantage.
- Is expected to be conversant with one or more of the popular server-side scripting languages (i.e.
PHP/Python/Ruby).
Knowledge of MVC frameworks like Yii, Ruby on Rails or Django is an advantage.
Knowledge of Drupal will be an advantage of course. Knowledge on AngularJS, Node JS, React JS,
Ionic etc is also required.

- Experience in an Agile SDLC development environment. Proficiency in building an application in any of the PHP frameworks (CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii or Zend Framework). Excellent communication skills; verbal & written.

Ability to interact with foreign clients to define requirements and to resolve reported issues.

· Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms · Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team · Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications · Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools · Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API · Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support · Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale · Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality · Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions · Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues · Document the development process, architecture, and standard components · Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager · Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
