Job Summary:

Experienced Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Angular (TypeScript) for front-end development and Python Flask for back-end API development. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Full Stack Developer at GoQuest Media, you will play a key role in building and maintaining

web applications that deliver seamless user experiences for our global clients. From

brainstorming features with the team to executing back-end logic, you will be involved in every

aspect of our application development process.

You will be working with modern technologies like NodeJS, ReactJS, NextJS, and Tailwind CSS

to create performant, scalable applications. Your role will span both front-end and back-end

development as you build efficient and dynamic solutions to meet the company’s and users’

needs.

What will you be accountable for?

● End-to-End Development:

● Design and develop highly scalable and interactive web applications from scratch.

● Take ownership of both front-end (ReactJS, NextJS, Tailwind CSS) and back-end

(NodeJS) development processes.

● Feature Implementation:

● Work closely with designers and product managers to translate ideas into highly

interactive and responsive interfaces.

● Maintenance and Debugging:

● Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

● Perform regular maintenance, debugging, and testing of existing apps to ensure

they remain in top shape.

● Collaboration:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers,

and stakeholders, to deliver seamless and robust applications.

● Innovation:

● Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies to suggest and implement

improvements in the development process.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, customization, and support of ServiceNow solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to translate requirements into efficient and effective ServiceNow applications. Your expertise in ServiceNow platform development, configuration, and Administration will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and forms based on business requirements and best practices.
• Customise and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalogue, to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose innovative solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Perform ServiceNow platform upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party systems as needed.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ServiceNow applications to ensure functionality, stability, and performance.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of ServiceNow applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and functionalities and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Collaborate with administrators and other developers to establish development standards, guidelines, and best practices for ServiceNow platform usage.
• Train and mentor junior developers and provide guidance on ServiceNow development techniques and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its core applications.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI customization, and workflows.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, such as ServiceNow Studio, ServiceNow Developer Studio, and ServiceNow Workflow Editor,
• Experience with ServiceNow integration technologies (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and web service integrations
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, IT service management (ITSM) concepts, and IT operations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop efficient ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator) are highly desirable.

Role & Responsibilities

• A Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer with good understanding of Java script, jQuery, HTML, CSS. The individual will need to be hands on with development, performance optimisation, secure development process, usability, and coding standards of the product.
• Strong ROR development experience and follows best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards).
• Should have a mix of excellent reasoning ability to document, develop and test software with the commitment to excellence and defect free product before being deployed.
• Should be able to work closely with all stakeholders to investigate, fix, optimise, test, and deploy high quality solutions.
• Should have hands on understanding of technical design, implementation, and maintenance of technical initiatives towards improving and scaling of products.
• Self-motivated and should rapidly incorporate new requirements and deliver successfully by self.
• Effectively communicates with peers and stakeholders, gathers and clarify requirements from technical & functional aspect.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of IT experience.
• At least 4 years commercial web development experience.
• At least 3 years of Ruby on Rails commercial development experience.
• Familiarity with Relational and Non Relation Databases ( Postgres, Mysql, MongoDb)
• REST API development.
• Familiarity with In Memory Database ( Redis, Memcache )
• Web development - HTML, HTML5 JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, http, REST.
• AGILE/SCRUM development Experience.
• Development practices - Rails test framework / TDD / BDD, Domain Driven Design, SOLID, refactoring, OOP design patterns
• Expertise in version control system ( GIT )
• Candidate need to be comfortable dabbling with some basic infrastructure management on AWS.
• Familiarity with ( React, Vue ) is a plus.
