PortOne provides a unified API for merchants to integrate with and manage all of the payment options available in Korea and SEA Markets - Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia etc. It's currently used by 2000+ companies and processing multi-billion dollars in annualized volume. We are building a team to take this product to international markets, and looking for engineers with a passion for fintech and digital payments.

Skills and Experience

• Preferably have 1 to 2 Years of experience shipping high quality products.
• Experience working at payment gateways or aggregators or payment related APIs will be strongly preferred.
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
• Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally
• Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems

What will you do ?

• Contribute to our payments stack to expand the payment coverage across multiple markets in Asia
• Build new features for internal and external users.
• Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as experts in - product, design, infrastructure, and operations.

• Building intuitive, easy-to-use APIs for payment process.

We are looking for an Asp.Net developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.

In this role, you should be able to write functional code using .NET linking SQL database elements to external application interface (desktop of mobile)

Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain existing application and working on new applications from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Producing code using .NET languages (C#)
• Writing of Stored Procedures for SQL database for extracting data related to the application
• Participate in requirement analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and SQL SPs
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Serve as an expert on existing applications and provide technical support

Skill Requirements

• Proven experience of 2-4 years as a .NET Developer or https://resources.workable.com/application-developer-job-description">Application Developer
• Familiarity with the http://asp.net/">ASP.NETframework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns 
• Good working knowledge of .NET languages (C#) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

What is the role?

You will be responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. You will be responsible for the functional/technical track of the project

• Overall 4+ years of experience
• Agnostic/Polyglot with multiple tech stacks

• Good experience with Front-end technologies like Javascript frameworks, Reactjs, Angularjs
• Backend exposure – good knowledge of building API
• Worked on serverless technologies
