Overview:
This role focuses on building a distributed system enabling our engineering teams to deploy our platform across multiple geographies and various deployment solutions. You will work closely with functional heads within the software, QA, and product teams to deliver scalable and customizable release pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Conduct system performance analysis and optimization.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
- Develop and enforce best practices for security and compliance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, managing large-scale infrastructure, cloud, or web services.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and networking concepts.
- Experience with OCI, GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers.
- 3+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, Helm, and Docker.
- Experience operating CI/CD pipelines for cloud and on-premise services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
- Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
