Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Specialist to join our global automotive team. As DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for managing operations, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting automation workflows to ensure operational stability and excellence for enterprise IT projects. You will be providing support for critical application environments for industry leaders in the automotive industry. 

Responsibilities:

Daily maintenance tasks on application availability, response times, pro-active incident tracking on system logs and resources monitoring

Incident Management: Monitor and respond to tickets raised by the DevOps team or end-users. 

Support users with prepared troubleshooting Maintain detailed incident logs, track SLAs, and prepare root cause analysis reports.

Change & Problem Management: Support scheduled changes, releases, and maintenance activities. Assist in identifying and tracking recurring issues. 

Documentation & Communication: Maintain process documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on incidents and resolutions. 

Tool & Platform Support: Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Requirements:

DevOps Skillset: Logfile analysis /troubleshooting (ELK Stack), Linux administration, Monitoring (App Dynamics, Checkmk, Prometheus, Grafana), Security (Black Duck, SonarQube, Dependabot, OWASP or similar)

Experience with Docker.

Familiarity with DevOps principles and ticket tools like ServiceNow.

Experience in handling confidential data and safety sensitive systems

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Easy to work with.

Optional: Experience with our relevant business domain (Automotive / Manufacturing industry, especially production management systems). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM, ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Incidence management and root cause analysis.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Mentoring and guiding the team members 
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Requirements

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in a Devops role.
• Good knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS/Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes experience (Mandatory) and good knowledge in Docker.
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Good knowledge in complex Debugging mechanisms (especially JVM) and Java programming experience (Mandatory)
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
• A team player with excellent communication skills.

• As a DevOps Engineer, you need to have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Setup development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Mobile, Web API’s & AIML)

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer and strong working knowledge in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD using Git, BitBucket, CodeCommit, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc
• Strong knowledge in Linux-based infrastructures and AWS/Azure/GCP environment
• Working knowledge on AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda, etc)
• Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
• Experience on Android source(AOSP) clone, build, and automation ecosystems
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Groovy, Bash, etc
• Familiar with Android ROM development and build process
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies

Position Summary

DevOps is a Department of Horizontal Digital, within which we have 3 different practices.

1. Cloud Engineering
2. Build and Release
3. Managed Services

This opportunity is for Cloud Engineering role who also have some experience with Infrastructure migrations, this will be a complete hands-on job, with focus on migrating clients workloads to the cloud, reporting to the Solution Architect/Team Lead and along with that you are also expected to work on different projects for building out the Sitecore Infrastructure from scratch.

We are Sitecore Platinum Partner and majority of the Infrastructure work that we are doing is for Sitecore.

Sitecore is a .Net Based Enterprise level Web CMS, which can be deployed on On-Prem, IaaS, PaaS and Containers.

So, most of our DevOps work is currently planning, architecting and deploying infrastructure for Sitecore.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• This role includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements related to cloud migration and Infrastructure deployments.
• Person who will be selected for this position will ensure high customer satisfaction delivering Infra and migration projects.
• Candidate must expect to work in parallel across multiple projects, along with that candidate must also have a fully flexible approach to working hours.
• Candidate should keep him/herself updated with the rapid technological advancements and developments that are taking place in the industry.
• Along with that candidate should also have a know-how on Infrastructure as a code, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• Total work experience of 6 to 8 Years.
• Total migration experience of 4 to 6 Years.
• Multiple Cloud Background (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Implementation knowledge of VMs, Vnet,
• Know-how of Cloud Readiness and Assessment
• Good Understanding of 6 R's of Migration.
• Detailed understanding of the cloud offerings
• Ability to Assess and perform discovery independently for any cloud migration.
• Working Exp. on Containers and Kubernetes.
• Good Knowledge of Azure Site Recovery/Azure Migrate/Cloud Endure
• Understanding on vSphere and Hyper-V Virtualization.
• Working experience with Active Directory.

• High Availability and Disaster Recovery Implementations, taking into the consideration of RTO and RPO aspects.
• Candidates with AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications will be preferred.
