About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to manage deployments, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability while ensuring secure and scalable systems.

You will work on a live SaaS product and upcoming AI-driven modules, contributing directly to production systems.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps (Core):

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Manage Linux-based servers and environments
• Ensure high availability, uptime, and performance
• Automate deployment workflows

Security (Integrated):

• Implement secure deployment practices
• Manage access control, secrets, and credentials
• Monitor logs and system activity
• Identify and fix basic vulnerabilities
• Support audit/log requirements (future compliance readiness)

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / System Administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Experience with AWS or any cloud platform
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports)

Required Skills:

• Experience in systems administration, SRE or DevOps focused role

Key Responsibilities

• As a part of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for the configuration, optimization, documentation, and support of the CI/CD components.

• Creating and managing build and release pipelines with Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

Essential Requirements

• Good hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS & GCP. (Preferably Azure)

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles.

• Strong work experience with CI/CD implementation tools like Azure DevOps, Team City, Octopus Deploy, AWS Code Deploy, and Jenkins.

• Experience of writing automation scripts with PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.

• GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Continuous Integration (CI) system.

• Understanding of secure DevOps practices

The AWS Cloud/Devops Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation.  A key part of the role is championing and leading infrastructure as code.  The Engineer will work closely with the Manager of Operations and Devops to build, manage and automate our AWS infrastructure. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Qualifications:

• At least 1-5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3)
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
• Expertise using Chef for configuration management

• Development and documentation of Chef recipes and/or ansible scripts. Support throughout the entire deployment lifecycle (development, quality assurance, and production).
• Help developers leverage infrastructure, application, and cloud platform features and functionality participate in code and design reviews, and support developers by building CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.
• Create knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation to help developers and operations teams understand and leverage the system's capabilities.
• Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.
• Leverage scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python) to build required automation and tools on an ad-hoc basis.
