Cloud DevOps

Role Purpose:

As a DevOps ,  You should be strong in both the Dev and Ops part of DevOps. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of systems architecture, understands core CS concepts well, and is able to reason about system behaviour rather than merely working with the toolset of the day. Responsibilities

1. Deployment, management, and administration of web services in a public cloud environment
2. Design and develop solutions for deploying highly secure, highly available, performant and scalable services in elastically provisioned environments
3. Design and develop continuous integration and continuous deployment solutions from development through production
4. Own all operational aspects of running web services including automation, monitoring and alerting, reliability and performance
5. Have direct impact on running a business by thinking about innovative solutions to operational problems
6. Drive solutions and communication for production impacting incidents
7. Running technical projects and being responsible for project-level deliveries
8. Partner well with engineering and business teams across continents

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field
2. 4 - 6 years professional experience in DevOps, with at least 1/2 years in Linux / Unix
3. Very strong in core CS concepts around operating systems, networks, and systems architecture including web services
4. Strong scripting experience in Python and Bash
5. Deep experience administering, running and deploying AWS based services
6. Solid experience with Terraform, Packer and Docker or their equivalents
7. Knowledge of security protocols and certificate infrastructure.
8. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills 
9. Broad experience with cloud hosted applications including virtualization platforms, relational and non relational data stores, reverse proxies, and orchestration platforms
10. Curiosity, continuous learning and drive to continually raise the bar
11. Strong partnering and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Past experience as a senior developer or application architect strongly preferred.
2. Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
3. Experience with Zookeeper, Consul, HAProxy, ELK-Stack, Kafka, PostgreSQL.
4. Experience working with, and preferably designing, a system compliant to any security framework (PCI DSS, ISO 27000, HIPPA, SOC 2, ...)
5. Experience with AWS orchestration services such as ECS and EKS.
6. Experience working with AWS ML pipeline services like AWS Sagemak

What will you do?  

• Setup, manage Applications with automation, DevOps, and CI/CD tools. 
• Deploy, Maintain and Monitor Infrastructure and Services. 
• Automate code and Infra Deployments. 
• Tune, optimize and keep systems up to date. 
• Design and implement deployment strategies. 
• Setup infrastructure in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM cloud, Digital Ocean etc as per requirement. 

• 5+ years hands-on experience with designing, deploying and managing core AWS services and infrastructure
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, Ruby, Groovy, or similar languages 
• Experience in source control management, specifically with Git
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux and bash scripting
• Experience building, managing Helm-based build and release CI-CD pipelines for Kubernetes platforms (EKS, Openshift, GKE) 
• Strong experience with orchestration and config management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Cloudformation  
• Ability to debug, analyze issues leveraging tools like App Dynamics, New Relic and Sumologic 
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and principles 
• Good writing and documentation skills
• Strong collaborator with the ability to work well with core teammates and our colleagues across STS

• Expertise in Infrastructure & Application design & architecture
• Expertise in AWS, OS & networking
• Having good exposure on Infra & Application security
• Expertise in Python, Shell scripting
• Proficient with Devops tools Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, GIT
• Solid background in systems engineering and operations
• Strong in Devops methodologies and processes
• Strong in CI/CD pipeline & SDLC.

Mandatory Requirement/ Preference:

1.PowerBuild technology experience with minimum 8+ years

1. Excellent command on ASP.NET, Angular5/6/7/any version, MVC, Sql Server.
2. Should have strong debugging skills on Developer Tools of the browser and Working with Cross Browser UI

4.Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Platform and Microsoft Office applications.

1. Detailed technical knowledge of Angular any version, C#.Net (Visual Studio) development tools.
2. Experience with DevExpress components desirable.
3. Experience with DATA along with DevOps and GitHub.
4. ANgularJS is different to Angular. AngularJS experience is not relevant to us
