We have been around for 14 months, making revenue for the last 8 months. We have several notable customers (like Porter, UrbanLadder) and some very promising startups using us everyday.

What does a Founding Marketer do?

From the context of Zorp, here’s what you do.

In simple terms, you will help our customers organically discover and onboard on to Zorp at scale.

How do you do that?

You will own and execute the strategy for the following channels:

  • Content
  • Brand
  • Social Media
  • Partnerships
  • Community
  • Others

At Zorp, we run a lot of experiments for both short term and long term. You will own the numbers for the short term and simultaneously invest for the long term.


What do you need to execute the above?

  • You need to 3+ years of working in Marketing technology products
  • Should have the experience working in early stage startup targeting a global audience
  • You need to be good working with Technology and Data. We automate pretty much everything that we have to do (Even things that are traditionally done only by people).
  • Ability to ideate and execute experiments to figure out everything. We run 2-3 experiments a month and ability to do this consistently is important. Ie., Try new things.
  • Have experience building online brands.
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and work. At Zorp, no matter how much you grow, you will do hands on work. You need to be comfortable with that.
  • Excellent at oral and written communication are table stakes.
  • Ability to build high-functioning teams around you.
