
We are seeking a hands-on eCommerce Analytics & Insights Lead to help establish and scale our newly launched eCommerce business. The ideal candidate is highly data-savvy, understands eCommerce deeply, and can lead KPI definition, performance tracking, insights generation, and data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams—Buying, Marketing, Operations, and Technology—to build dashboards, uncover growth opportunities, and guide the evolution of our online channel.
Key Responsibilities
Define & Monitor eCommerce KPIs
- Set up and track KPIs across the customer journey: traffic, conversion, retention, AOV/basket size, repeat rate, etc.
- Build KPI frameworks aligned with business goals.
Data Tracking & Infrastructure
- Partner with marketing, merchandising, operations, and tech teams to define data tracking requirements.
- Collaborate with eCommerce and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, completeness, and availability.
Dashboards & Reporting
- Build dashboards and automated reports to track:
- Overall site performance
- Category & product performance
- Marketing ROI and acquisition effectiveness
Insights & Performance Diagnosis
Identify trends, opportunities, and root causes of underperformance in areas such as:
- Product availability & stock health
- Pricing & promotions
- Checkout funnel drop-offs
- Customer retention & cohort behavior
- Channel acquisition performance
Conduct:
- Cohort analysis
- Funnel analytics
- Customer segmentation
- Basket analysis
Data-Driven Growth Initiatives
- Propose and evaluate experiments, optimization ideas, and quick wins.
- Help business teams interpret KPIs and take informed decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years experience in eCommerce analytics (grocery retail experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics and analytics frameworks (Traffic → Conversion → Repeat → LTV).
- Proficiency with tools such as:
- Google Analytics / GA4
- Excel
- SQL
- Power BI or Tableau
- Experience working with:
- Digital marketing data
- CRM and customer data
- Product/category performance data
- Ability to convert business questions into analytical tasks and produce clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with:
- Customer journey mapping
- Funnel analysis
- Basket and behavioral analysis
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and build-from-scratch environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong technical capability in at least one programming language: SQL or PySpark.
Good to Have
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, etc.).
- Exposure to A/B testing, recommendation engines, or personalization analytics.
- Knowledge of Python/R for deeper analytics (optional).
- Experience with tracking setup (GTM, event tagging, pixel/event instrumentation).

What You Will Do:
As a Data Governance Architect at Kanerika, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the enterprise data governance strategy. Your responsibilities include:
1. Strategy, Framework, and Governance Operating Model
