We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer to automate our internal workflows, develop tools for internal use that are used by our development team.

We follow the following practices: unit testing, continuous integration CI, continuous deployment CD, and DevOps.

We have codebases in go, java, python, vue js, bash and support the development team that develops C code.

You need to like challenges, explore new fields and find solutions for problems.

You will be responsible for coordinating, automating, and validating internal workflows and ensuring operational stability, and system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in professional software development
• Solid understanding of software development patterns like SOLID, GoF or similar.
• Experience automating deployments for different kinds of applications.
• Strong understanding of Git version control, merge/rebase strategies, tagging.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and deployment orchestration (e.g., docker compose).
• Solid scripting experience (bash, or similar).
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, and probing tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, blackbox exporter).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SRE
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Familiarity with build tools like Make, CMake, or similar.
• Exposure to artifact management systems (e.g., aptly, Artifactory, Nexus).
• Experience deploying to Linux production systems with service uptime guarantees.

Responsibilities

• Develop new services that are needed by SRE, Field or Development Team by adopting unit testing, agile, clean code practices.
• Drive the CI/CD pipeline and maintain the workflows, using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins
• Deploy the services and implement and refine the automation for different environments.
• Operate: The services that the SRE Team developed.
• Automate release pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Version control: Manage and enforce Git best practices, branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow), tagging, and release versioning.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to align on release timelines and feature readines

• Achieve >99% service up time with minimal rollbacks.
• Delivery in time, hold timelines.

Position: Member of Technical Staff - Linux Specialist - DevOps

Location: Bengaluru - India

Experience: 2-6 Years

Mandatory skills: Linux, CI/CD ,Coding/Programming,networking infrastructure

● Responsibilities: We are looking for experienced Linux specialists (Linux system administrators) to be part of RtBrick’s DevOps team. The DevOps team handles the CI/CD, compute and networking infrastructure and tools that together form a multi-tenant multi-environment delivery and deployment system for RBFS (RtBrick Full Stack). You will be part of a high performance team responsible for managing, improving and adapting these systems.

● CI/CD

Knowledge of software compilation and packaging for various Linux environments is required. Expertise in Linux system administration, Linux package management and Linux internals is essential. Ability to build custom Linux images for different types of container and/or virtual machine (VM) environments is also required. Experience with the Linux boot process, init system and service manager is highly desirable.

● Tools

Good knowledge of shell (bash) scripting and the Ansible automation framework is required. Knowledge of other automation frameworks and/or infrastructure-as-code tools is considered a plus. Experience with managing network infrastructure (switches, routes, firewalls) is highly desirable. Experience with monitoring solutions based on Prometheus and Grafana is desirable. Knowledge of the Python or Golang programming languages is considered a plus.

●Operations

Manage compute and networking infrastructure for a private cloud. Manage applications and services deployed in the private cloud but also in public clouds. This position will be part of an on-call engineer rotation during certain critical periods for the company.

Required Skills:

1. About 2-6 years of industry experience in Linux system administration with emphasis on automation.
2. Experience with networking focused Linux distributions (ONL/Open Network Linux and/or SONiC) is considered a plus.
3. Good understanding and troubleshooting skills of networking issues, both at the host (Linux) level but also at the network (switches, routes, firewalls) level is required.
4. Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins or similar) is required.
5. Experience with software development tools like git, Gitlab, CMake, GNU build tools.
6. Proficient in shell (bash) scripting. Experience with the Python or Golang programming languages is considered a plus.
7. Knowledge and experience of Linux container technologies (Docker, LXC) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) or any other equivalent container technologies is desirable.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with Linux systems (configuration, troubleshooting, networking, and administration)
• Network infrastructure management knowledge. CCNA/CCNP or an equivalent certification is a plus
• Scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience with branching, merging, and tagging workflows
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox or VMWare, including the design, implementation, and management of virtualized infrastructures. Understanding of virtual machine provisioning, resource management, and performance optimization in virtual environments.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with end point security.

Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technical writer to join the Rtbrick India, Bangalore and take responsibility for shaping the successful delivery of Documentation to the customer. We are looking for a technical writer to help augment our Information Development team in Bangalore.

Technical skills:

• Must have worked on Telecom/Mobile/Networking/Cloud technical documentation
• Experience working with docs-as-code tools (Ascidocs, markdown, etc.) is needed
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python is needed
• Experience with version control systems is needed, experience with Github/Gitlab would be a plus
• Experience working on software testing or technical support would be a plus
• MCA/BE/BTech degrees would be a plus

• Work closely with engineering, product, and field teams to gather and validate information relevant to our customers.
• Turn complex technical concepts into easily understandable text and illustrations.
