Principal engineer- Platform

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Developer at arahas in Gurugram. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, software development, and utilizing cascading style sheets (CSS). Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and maintaining web applications, implementing UI/UX designs, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• · Develop and maintain web applications using the MEARN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, React and Node.js)
• · Work on back-end & front-end development of core scriptsusingNodeJS/MongoDB/React.js/Angular/Express.
• · Mentor junior team members on system architecture, coding styles and inculcate an attitude of continuous improvement in the team members
• · Work with a team of developers to build and deploy scalable web applications
• · Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• · Troubleshoot and debug code
• · Unit test code

Qualifications:

• · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• · 4-7 years of experience developing web applications
• · Strong understanding of MEAN and MERN stack
• · Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js
• · Experience with MongoDB and Express
• · Experience with Angular and React
• · Experience with at least one of the cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.
• · Experience with GIS is a plus
• · Familiarity with Server-Oriented Architecture and RESTful Web Services
• · Experience with unit testing and code review
• · Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for monitoring project deliverables on day to day basis 
• Required to update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project's progress. 
• Assist, train, and ensure project team members with tasks that you have assigned to them. 
• Test the product modules and manage the change request, bug reports, etc. 
• Assist project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress reports. 
• Facilitate communication between intern stakeholders, clients, vendors, and management. 

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 
• 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience. 
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills for documentation, user stories, etc. 
• Proficient in MS Excel, and Presentation. Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Notion is a plus. 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Ability to work well in a team environment. 
• Experience with project management tools and software. 
• Ability to identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.

- Good understanding of NODE JS back-end development

- Strong understanding of Node.js and frameworks available for it

- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as React/Angular, HTML and CSS3
-Solid understanding of object-oriented development and design patterns.

- Good experience with AJAX, REST and JSON

- Experience with development practices such as Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration

Skills required for JS Frontend developer:
