The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team at 21 Knots. Someone with backend development with a working knowledge of frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask, and familiarity with frontend tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally React, Angular, or Vue. You will play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable software solutions while collaborating with a team

Responsibilities

• Develop,test, and maintain backend services using Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and internal tools.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Optimize application performance and implement backend security best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Support basic frontend development tasks using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue (good to have).

What You’ll Need

Experience:

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Exposure to full-stack development environments.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud integration is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Tools & Software Proficiency:

• Proficiency in Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Exposure to Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS for responsive UI design.
• Good to have: experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.

• 1 - 4 years experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

We are looking for ambitious hands-on coders who love building web based applications from the ground up and have a special affection for all things JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, web-based applications interacting with database filesystems and APIs
• Obsess about code quality and readability
• Remain updated on new and evolving client-side technologies, their application to our functionality or architecture goals
• Work closely in a multi-disciplinary structure to deliver world class solutions across web, mobile, and tablets
• Identify and establish best practices and frameworks keeping in mind parameters of performance, responsiveness, security, maintainability, extensibility, and reuse

Must have:

• At least 3 years of experience in developing web based applications with experience in Node.Js
• Skilled at Object Oriented JavaScript and having a working knowledge of at least one of the following MVC Frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Ember, React etc.).

Job Description  -

Viaan Gaming is looking for a Sr. Software Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skill set and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop, test and deploy the products required for the company's needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy. 

Responsibilities - Own the product : Design, Develop & Deploy  - Assume full ownership of new technology solutions - right from the requirement to release.  - Ensure Quality & sustainability of the architecture - Obsess about code quality, automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews, and documentation  - Focus on quality with continuous integration and deployment.  - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. - Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Knowledge of Development Tools Bitbucket, Docker & Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD with BitBucket and JIRA  - Web Server technologies:- Apache, Nginx - Understand client-server architecture, REST APIs and websocket communication.  - Good level of understanding in SCSS and CSS and familiar with responsive UI.  - Expert knowledge to handle integration & deployments Cloud computing AWS - Expert in HTTP terminologies such as Request/Response cycle, content negotiation, CORS etc  - Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes - Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability  - Obsess about code quality, automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews, and documentation  - Familiarity with AWS products - Beanstalk, Elb, ECS, EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, etc.  - Great interpersonal and communication skills  - Good organizational and time-management skills 

 Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science / engineering

Skills:
