Role & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Financial Services team, contributing to the design and development of scalable system.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To-

• Take ownership of delivering performant, scalable and high quality cloud based software, both frontend and backend side.
• Mentor team members to develop in line with product requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior Architect for design and technology choices for product development roadmap.
• Do code reviews.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong Software Engineer fullstack profile using NodeJS / Python and React
• Mandatory (Experience) - Must have 6+ YOE in Software Development using Python OR NodeJS (For backend) & React (For frontend)
• Mandatory (Core Skills 1): Must have strong experience in working on Typescript
• Mandatory (Core Skills 2): Must have experience in message based systems like Kafka, RabbitMq, Redis
• Mandatory (Core Skills 3): Databases - PostgreSQL & NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Mandatory (Company) - Product Companies Only
• Mandatory (Education) - B.Tech or Dual degree (Btech and Mtech or Integrated Msc/MS) from Tier 1 Engineering Institutes. Candidates from other institutions will not be considered unless they come from top-tier product companies
• Mandatory (Note) : This role is a hybrid role (2 days WFO)
• Preferred (Experience): Experience in Fin-Tech, Payment, POS and Retail products is highly preferred
• Preferred (Mentoring): Experience in mentoring, coaching the team.

- Good understanding of NODE JS back-end development

- Strong understanding of Node.js and frameworks available for it

- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as React/Angular, HTML and CSS3
-Solid understanding of object-oriented development and design patterns.

- Good experience with AJAX, REST and JSON

- Experience with development practices such as Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
-Experience in Version Control Systems like GIT, Bitbucket
- Must have good problem solving and analytical skills.

- Must be a team player, having good communication skills, self-starter

- Ability to pick up new technology is needed.

In the 21st century, where everything around is digitized then why not temples. That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us.Right now we are looking to grow our team and build new exciting features for devotees all around the world.

Requirements:

• Strong Design and User Experience. Have worked on building High Quality Web experiences and extremely focussed on coding for the best User Experience
• Experience in any frontend framework like ReactJS, VueJs
• Good understanding and experience of NoSQL and SQL Databases, which to be used when.
• Experience with CI/CD Systems like Jenkins, Github Actions.
• Some Experience with Realtime Databases/Systems or Socket based applications would be preferred.
• Some Experience with building Algorithms, Social Apps is preferred.
• Any experience with Handling Video Delivery like ffmpeg/HLS/WebRTC is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React.
• Proficiency with server side languages such as Python, Java, PHP and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

KRAs:

• Liaise with business/departmental stakeholders, understanding requirements
• Making project plan and enhancement feature release roadmap
• Working hands-on for product enhancements
• Producing, testing and debugging code

Job brief:

We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to lead and implement solution enhancements. You will work with top management to define solution requirements and take the lead on technical aspect of the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality technology design and architecture
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code, perform validation and verification testing
• Identify 3rd party integration opportunity and engage with 3rd party team on technology and business aspect and drive successful integration

• Develop technology solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Skillset requirements:

• Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Python, C++) and the Java/J2EE platform
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Java/JEE, Spring, JSON, XML, NoSQL Database(MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed System, RDBMS, ePub3, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, Javascript, JQuery, JSON
• Ability to use version control software such as GIT and SVN
• Experience as an applications programmer on large-scale data base management systems
• Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database is required
• Experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python/Perl) and/or server-side Java programming with Web 1.0 MVC frameworks and experience in JEE technologies like Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, Web Services, JMS, JAXB.
• Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development
• High scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
• Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability
• Experience debugging distributed systems with high data loads
• Deep understanding of distributed data model
• Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
