We are looking for an experienced technical lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building out our web architecture and managing an agile team. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for the development team. You will participate in the full development life cycle, from the concept stage to delivery and post-launch support. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, and an excellent communicator, with a strong passion for technology and innovation.
YOU WILL:
- Build out our web architecture, allowing new feature modules to be sent to production while having strategic foresight on the long-term product vision
- Introduce new technology and ideas as needed
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Manage an agile team, including hiring, training, and mentoring
- Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives
- Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
- Analyze requirements and impact assessment for new features or bug fixes
- Perform high-level design and establish technical standards
- Coordinate with co-developers and actively participate in code reviews, bug fixing code /architecture
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers, perform code reviews, participate actively in demos
- Share knowledge through collaboration, training, peer review, presentations, and articles
- Foster innovation and creativity in the team

PREREQUISITES:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams
- Strong experience with backend development, including experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP
- Experience with frontend technologies and architecture, including experience with modern web frameworks like React, Angular
- Experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with multi-tier systems and service design and development for large-scale systems
- Experience in managing an agile team, including hiring, training, and mentoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold kickass ideas
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
